For a Parry AGFP Propane Gas Table Top Fryer that failed while still under warranty, they supplied replacement parts, but those parts arrived faulty. After that, they sent their own service technician, who installed new parts. However, the fryer now operates unpredictably — it switches off and on randomly and does not function reliably.

They are clearly unwilling to resolve this issue and have effectively stopped communicating with us altogether.

Does this really have to be taken to court to get a proper resolution? Why, in the UK, does the system seem to fail to protect the consumer in situations like this?

Parry sell through distributors, one of which is Next Day Catering. We purchased a Parry Chip Scuttler from Next Day Catering on the 9th September 2025. Todate, 21st October 2025, this has not been received. I called Next Day at least 20 times and email 7 times, they do not return emails and certainly don't answer the phone. Today I called Parry, they explained that Nextday have a number of negative reviews on TrustPilot and this is happening all the time. I asked why they still supply Next Day, I was told this is under review. They can see my order, on their system, but can not ship to us until Next Day Catering confirm this can be done. Personally I think that top avoid other customers receiving bad service, Parry should choose their distributors better and when they know there's a problem, act on resolving it. Personally I won't purchase a Parry product again.

Worst fryer I have ever worked with!
slow re heat rate, can only cook very very small amounts at a time ( 2 portions of chips) then it will take 7-8 mins to get to temp again.

NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USE AS ADVERTISED! Essential parts broke within 1 month of use.

Please do not waste your money, i've had to pay to get an engineer out to identify their faulty parts, their warranty department take days to respond to emails.
I am now on week three of this complaint and am no closer to a resolution.

This is costing me about £500 a week in lost sales.
(which I can prove with sales reports)

One other person I know had exactly the same problems as I have his unit so there is a fault in there craftsman ship, even my gas engineer said to stay clear of them!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE GET A LINGCAT!
