Parking.com - Convention Center Parking Arvostelua 40

This was tricky. It was easy to go online and pay ahead for the parking but when we got to the garage we were originally told they do not honor parking.com but after a while the manager approved it and we had no problem when we left.

I booked a $20 dollar rate online for the gallery 2 lot across from the Convention Center, where FEMA has a mass vaccination site. I had an issue there on exiting.
I sent an email to parking.com customer service thinking it was probably a waste of time.
Today I was contacted by customer service rep, Terrance, we spoke for a bit, he took the time to listen and then explained that he would make good for the negative experience I had.
That is what I call customer service. He changed my future consideration with parking.com to a positive.

The exit doesn’t have a scanner for the QR code..

I couldn’t scan the bar code so I had to pay by traditional method. Im no out 37 dollars. I don’t know how to recover this money. I definitely WILL NOT use this again

The PA Convention Center garage was an easy place to park. What I loved is the option to prepay the charge then using the printed code to the scanner upon arrival and when exiting.

Scan in to the parking lot didn’t work. I was concerned and called customer service. No one answers, but the recording says to leave a message. I did and no one called back, so I set an email. No reply. The barcode didn’t work when I exited the lot, but the Attendent wrote down the code number and accepted it, letting me out. Sketchy product and terrible customer service.

After purchasing the parking garage time I got the email with a bar code stating I purchased the parking. When I got to the parking garage the bar code did not work. I needed a QR code. I had to get a regular ticket from the garage. I told the parking employee what happened and I showed him that I purchased the parking. He looked at my phone and said “parking.com go figure”. You guys need to send the right code to get in the parking garage with out the extra steps.

I needed to change my arrival time so I called and was extremely satisfied with the customer support person and how easy it was.

The only issue I had was that the email I was sent included a bar code but the reader at the parking garage expected a QR code. Not a major issue though, because I just pressed the ticket button to get in, and upon exit the cashier accepted my email receipt.

Overall our parking experience was great. We had trouble getting the reader at the entrance to read the barcode off the printed paper confirmation. i had to bring up the email on my phone and scan it from there. Thankfully no one was behind me in the lane.

Super convenient to book ahead of time, however, there were a couple bumps along the way that could have been avoided. Booking ahead required providing an arrival time. We actually arrived 15 minutes prior to the time and when scanning the code was told the code was invalid but it replied with my name so it was recognizing something. We surmised afterward that it must have been because we were a bit early yet there was no warning on the website about strict timing. The invalid code message could have been more explicit as to what was wrong (too early). It is the city and vehicles were backing up behind us so I just took the manual ticket. Upon exit I explained to the cashier and it was handled easily so in the end it worked out. Would use the service again but recommend clearer policy to make check-in less stressful.

Gallery II lot was under construction so a bit long getting out but significant reduction in fee of $20 today compared to $35 without parking.com

Great site, easy to navigate and use!

I had some issues with choosing the correct dates for parking on my phone, but I got it worked out. The garage scanner wouldn't scan the barcode, but we showed it to the attendant upon leaving the garage and we got the discounted rate we purchased on the app. Overall it saved us about $65 in parking fees we would have paid our hotel.

I really like the idea of being able to purchase a parking space ahead of time. This was very helpful because I drive over 350 miles to get to Philadelphia. More importantly, I didn't want to search for parking after driving the entire day.

Better directions needed. 1101 arch is next to 1100. Awkward! 1101 should be across the street. Gate did not come up when I used the paperwork I was sent. When I left the attendant did not know what to do.
