I purchased 4 tickets for February 20 through this website. Not only did I pay 2.5 times the official ticket price (€41 instead of €18 per ticket), but on the day of our visit the Royal Palace was closed.
Visitors who bought tickets through the official channels were notified one week in advance about the closure. They received instant refunds and had enough time to reschedule their visit.
In my case, I was never informed. I only found out the Palace was closed when I arrived there on February 20 and could not enter. I had to send two emails and even file a complaint with my bank before I finally received a refund.
In my experience, this is a total scam. The website presents itself in a way that makes it look official, charges significantly higher prices, and fails to properly inform customers about important changes.
The same company appears to operate similar websites for other major attractions, such as the Prado Museum (museodelprado-tickets.org), using an almost identical layout and the same tactics.
Because of this situation, I completely missed the opportunity to visit one of Madrid’s most important landmarks. Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. I strongly recommend buying only from the official website.
