I ws treated to a condescending (sneering) response to my call asking about smoke - the narrow exhaust pipe needs cleaning every 5-7 burns, apparently in the several page instruction manual.

The door vent has the poorest screw system ever - if you try to turn the vent with the knob, the knob unscrews *or* the locking nut tightens the vent so much you can't move it. Thus, you have to open the door to push the vent fins open or shut. More smoke in my van.

The flashing lets water in, so the stove is rusting away on the top.

I've just cleaned it out to find the base grid has melted away.

So, a cheap and very shoddy design that'll probably be OK if you're only using it once or twice a year

Very pleased with my stove that I've fitted into a shed in the woods I own. It's really solidly built and within minutes it's toasty warm in the shed. The dog likes her bed besides it - even though it's only a cardboard box and a load of old towels from Oxfam - it's warm! The kettle boiled really fast and putting the chimney through the side wall wasn't too tricky. I made it harder by using two flashing kits - one on the inside to protect the wood as it goes through and one on the outside to stop rain getting in. I had to use some longer screws and it would have all been easier with another pair of hands but I managed it alone eventually.
