I have been using Otta/WTTJ for a few years, and in all that time I have yet to receive a single follow-up email from a job, or a message regarding an interview.

There are many roles which state (Remote from UK), and yet in the JD there is a very clear section outlining you must be US based.

I'd venture to say that atleast 90% of the roles on WTTJ are fake. When Otta started, they had what seemed like quality offerings. Now however, it feels that they post literally any role, and have well and truly cashed in on the fake job market.

Not quite the right fit, since I would prefer to only see remote jobs in the U.S., not overseas. Otherwise, it has great listings for job seekers. I'd also prefer to see more creative freelance jobs.

Best job platform out there by far. Gives you the data you need in an easy layout. Cuts out the noise and the junk.

Not had any success with WTTJ despite having 12 years of data science and analytics experience. Thought the “apply with Welcome to the jungle” would get better results, but still being rejected across the board for no reason, or just ghosted. I’ve had better luck applying directly which is strange.
Utterly bizarre situation, I’ve got huge names on my CV so something concerning is happening here. I can tell my applications aren’t even being looked at as I’m getting no hits on my website portfolio tracking link.
Applied for over 40 jobs via WTTJ and had no luck on any of them even though I tick every box on the JD and can do the role blindfolded.
You also need to add a feature that allows you to flag the jobs you’ve been rejected from (all of them at this rate) as I can’t see this anywhere.

The website is very helpful and delivers spot on tailored job matches that no other job portal can do.

Signed up a long while ago, long before the rebranding. Navigating the site is relatively easy however I have wasted a significant amount of applying to various roles. You never hear back from the employers and I have found on numerous occasions newly advertised roles are either due to expire or have already
expired after searching upon on the employers website! This explains why you never receive feedback or a response.

Sent unsolicited email to a private address.

Never heard of them, never signed up, not looking for a job.

Total spammers.

I was signed up to their mailing list and contacted without my consent. I can only assume they scraped my personal details from the internet or made use of an illegally obtained data leak.

Avoid, clearly any organisation that stoops to such tactics does not have your best interests in mind.

I found everything about WTTJ to be better than the alternatives, from the UI and information they provide to the actual listings themselves. By the end of my job search it was the only place I was looking. I don't understand the comments around applying through WTTJ, I had plenty of success doing that and found it much easier than directly through the lister's website.

Best to apply directly on the company website if you can. This platform just makes you spend a lot of time reformating your resume into its template (not another Workday form filing!) and does not really add more value to your application beyond that.

Best to apply directly and upload your existing resume to the company's website and save yourself from all these hassles. It really wasted my time.
