Extremely Poor Communication
Extremely Poor Communication – A Simple Issue Became a Major Headache
My experience with ORIKOOL has been extremely frustrating, primarily because of their poor communication and lack of accessible customer service.
I realized that I had ordered the wrong unit and contacted the company multiple times trying to cancel the order so I could purchase the correct one. I received no timely response.
What frustrated me most was that the agent later emailed me asking me to confirm the delivery. I responded immediately and specifically told her not to proceed with the delivery because I wanted to correct the order. Despite my response, the shipment proceeded anyway. I have the emails documenting this communication.
This entire situation could have been avoided if ORIKOOL had a reliable customer-service phone number where customers could speak with someone when an urgent shipping issue occurs. Instead, I spent days sending emails and messages, waiting for responses, and dealing with a problem that should have taken a few minutes to resolve.
Even more frustrating, many of the responses I received came in the middle of the night. When you’re running a restaurant and purchasing commercial equipment, you need to be able to communicate with a company during normal business hours—not repeatedly check your email at 2:00 in the morning hoping someone finally responds.
I eventually agreed to an exchange and paid the additional balance for the correct unit, but the amount of time and frustration required to get to this point was completely unnecessary.
ORIKOOL seriously needs to improve its customer service system, response times, and especially provide customers with a reliable way to speak with someone when there is an urgent order or delivery issue. Selling commercial equipment requires commercial-level customer support.
