My experience
I have to say that my experience with Ordering has been excellent. Their way of working and professionalism have allowed my project to keep growing in my country, and their system and improvements make it possible to have a competitive platform that is almost on the same level as the big apps. I have to mention that this last custom work I requested for the app was done in record time, despite how complex it was. I want to thank the CEO, Sergio, and his collaborators — Jannete, Uriel, Mauricio, and Ernesto — they have been amazing and have made every dollar invested truly worth it.

Its a good white label paltform. Have been with them for 5 months already. Lots of capabilities. Good design. Value for money. 97% of functionalities work perfectly, the others are a bit junky. The only thing that is not good is their support's speed. Whatever has settings to tinker with, it works effortlessly. But if you need custom work done they are really slow. they take 2-3 times the time they promised.

Our ordering.co experience has had a couple hills and valleys, but for the most part the support was fantastic, In particular Elliot and Arturo. Elliot has consistently been the most helpful and attentive support for us. He went out of his way and sacrificed his personal time to further our project, and was always willing to make himself available for our needs and questions. Arturo consistently took a stand for our needs, and was sympathetic to our issues and was willing to do it whatever it took in order to resolve the issues we experienced. We have greatly enjoyed working with ordering, especially these two.

We have been with ordering for the last 5 years. I must say so much has improved with their technology and their customer support (tickets crated are responded within minutes😊). We recently upgraded our system to the v5 and our customers love all the new features. Their amazing team from Uriel, Elliot and Luisana who are so swift with their responses and execution. The good, the bad, and the ugly
The Good: We signed back in June 2023 with this company because it appeared they had a polished, robust software solution that would have been ideal for our next business move. I still believe that is the case here. They have an excellent team and for the most part quite proactive in communication.
The Bad: We started on June 19 2023 and by mid Oct we pulled the plug. At this time we are back to square one and couldn't even utilize it for a single day. Initially we needed custom work around delivery fees which they agreed to prior to us signing off on the agreement. Upon completion of that work(July 26), when testing it we realized it didn't calculate taxes on service or delivery fees. We never thought it wouldn't be included because it's a critical requirement to function in the food delivery industry in the US and they repeatedly indicated they had knowledge and experience in this. We paid an additional sum for our dev guy to have access to the front end to make the tax modification and eventually let them complete it because they said it would only take a week or two for them to do it.
The Ugly: Once the secondary work was completed(Oct 10, much later than 1-2 weeks), the initial work was missing. I asked Sergio about it and was told he knew nothing about it. I was told I should have informed him about the initial previous work that was done by Alonso and his team and it was my responsibility. I questioned why I would need to do that considering its his team on Asana and the initial work that revealed the issue. He mentioned that as the CEO he shouldn't even be talking to me. I retorted back that I was the CEO of my company and the buck stops with him on the blame. After the gaslighting I was put through, we ultimately decided to terminate the contract. We are now 4 months in, with not one demo order pushed through to the end and just constant excuses and delays. They have refused to refund 4 months of fees or the $1k setup fee(we requested a 50% refund on this) to date despite not getting anything workable or useable to date. I write this in hopes of giving others a glimpse of our experience that despite doing our due diligence and reading the reviews, we still tried them only to realize there's a lot of truth to some of the more negative comments you will see in past reviews about this company. I found out recently a colleague in the industry 5 years ago tried them and it was the same outcome so nothing has changed to date in that regard. It took me 3 months to even have their contract in a state I would be willing to sign it and even then it was partially rushed as they were increasing prices and wanted us to sign sooner. I refused and we still paid a higher cost anyways. If you are a US/Canada based company, be extra weary. Their contract is written in a manner that they cannot be held liable for over $500 worth of charges in court. You can use your judgement/speculation as to why that may be the case.
Response to their comments:
-They are the first provider for this product, we did not have anyone before them since this was going to be a new offering.
-Our original price was $300. It was changed to $359 because we weren't willing to do a 12 month contract.
-We were only tapping into one part of their offerings. 2/3rd of it we didn't need.
-Both custom work we got charged extra SHOULD HAVE BEEN ALREADY INCLUDED. They are critical core feature of a white-label product. One was calculating taxes on delivery and service fees and the other was calculating delivery fees based on subtotal.
-The initial work completed was ERASED when they did the second part which was calculating taxes that were NOT present in their system.
-We are NOT a startup, we've been bootstrapped since 2019.
- I have a legal right to terminate the contract because we could not use the product we were paying for. I definitely told them we're taking them to court. Our contract and the communication to date will easily back up our claim and the lack of access let alone not even ONE order could be put through the system proves our case.
-Nothing was free, They got paid a $999 setup fee that initially didn't exist, they got paid 4 months of monthly fees AND a $1500 fee which was access to their front end source for our dev guy to implement what was missing. Then they kept it after stating no, back end was needed to to finish the work to fix the tax calculation issue. In return for keeping this amount, they were going to finish the work.
-RE: professionalism. Apparently because I don't do unicorn emoji's and maintain a professional tone and address issues right to the point, that makes me not very "super nice".
-Their lengthy response riddled with inaccuracies only serves to solidify a claim against them, so thank you for taking the time to share it with everyone else.
