Opticron Arvostelua 

Bought a pair of binoculars Explorer as when researched came to the conclusion they were perfect for my means.
Over the years, the outer rubber has decade and fallen away. Contacted Optician as was under the impression of a long guarantee, between 10 and 30 years.
Opticron said they were sorry and that they now no longer carry spares for these and they were out of date by 10 years. Was offered £49 off a new pair.

For what I paid for these binoculars I will be looking elsewhere. I have an old pair of binoculars belonging to my grandfather who served in the ww2 and they are still fully functional

One caution - check the size you really need. Even though binoculars (not Opticron) are 42mm I ordered the case for 50mm as my binocular strap is very well padded so I needed more room. (If I had been buying a new case for my Opticron binoculars then the 42mm would have fitted well.) Dimentions are on website. Well pleased with my order.
