Works well and is reliable
The Opera VPS system works well and seems reliable. We have had 100% uptime as far as I know. Set up server for customer in Canada who needed a geographically-close located server. Only minor issue is that it's not as user-configurable as AWS servers, but then on the other hand, it just requires a support email and they do it for us.

1/5 Stars - New Account Suspended Overnight: Unreliable Service and Poor Support
I signed up last night for their advertised high-speed RDP service, and by this morning, my brand-new account was inexplicably suspended for an ongoing "investigation" with no explanation provided. This is unacceptable for a legitimate provider—what kind of operation flags and freezes a fresh signup without any prior activity or communication?
The service itself feels unreliable from the start: Promised premium performance, but the remote desktops are sluggish, with frequent lags, disconnects, and subpar specs that barely handle basic tasks. Their support response is nonexistent—my ticket has been ignored for hours, leaving me in limbo while my payment is held. It raises serious red flags about transparency and potential billing issues, especially with an offshore setup that seems geared more toward delays than resolutions.
I strongly advise against using OperaVPS. The lack of accountability and instant problems make it a risky choice for anyone needing dependable VPS or RDP. Save your time and money—look elsewhere for better reliability.

✅ You submitted a cancellation request about 1 hour after activation. The cancellation was confirmed, and your refund was processed the same day.
(We are not aware of any “suspension” on your account during this time.)
✅ The performance issue came from choosing Windows 11 on a 2GB RAM plan, which is too weak to handle Windows 11! Our support team suggested either upgrading your plan or rebuilding with a lighter OS, but you preferred to proceed with cancellation.
Your support ticket was replied to promptly, within 10 minutes each time (4 replies in total).
We regret that the service did not meet your expectations, but we’ve done our best to address your concerns quickly and transparently.

We’ve checked the IP you received, and its reputation score is 41/100, which is considered normal for datacenter IPs.
Unlike residential IPs, the scores are usually higher by default. This doesn’t mean the IP is fraudulent.(It simply reflects the way reputation services calculate scores for datacenter ranges.)
