I am Sam, and I have recently finished my Eng4c course through OVS. It was a great experience, to complete it. Although it took a year to complete, I am not very good at English. But it was worth it. Now, finally, I will get the High School Diploma.

What made my experience in OVS great was the flexibility to learn at my own pace. In Calculus and Vectors, I could spend more time on harder topics like vectors and optimization problems without feeling rushed. The lessons were clear, and I could rewatch or review them whenever I needed.

I also liked the practice questions because they helped me prepare for tests and understand the material better. Whenever I needed help, the feedback was useful and explained my mistakes clearly. Overall, it helped me stay on track and really understand the course instead of just memorizing steps.

I took MCV4U-21 through OVS and really enjoyed the experience. One of the most enjoyable aspects of taking this course through OVS is that you are able to learn at your own pace as well as have some structure within the course to help guide you. I decided to take MCV4U-21 through OVS due to its ability to accommodate my schedule as opposed to attending my regular day school; I found it an excellent way to be able to balance school with all of the other things that I needed to do.

My teacher helped me when I had questions, explained them clearly and returned graded assignments in a timely manner. The practice exams, real exams, online resources, etc. were all very useful tools for helping me prepare for evaluations and stay focused throughout the course. The administrative staff were both supportive and easily accessible which made the entire experience even easier. OVS provided a structured, effective and simple approach to online learning, and I recommend it to fellow students who are searching for an alternative e-learning program.

I did 3 courses with OVS and honestly, it’s amazing if you’re rushing to get a credit done or need to learn something fast. The teachers are super nice and helpful, they always reply within a day and mark tests or assignments really fast. Whenever I got stuck, they actually took the time to help me out. I was stressed trying to finish my courses on time, but they were so supportive. Even the admin staff are great, they helped me with my university applications. Definitely recommend OVS if you’re in high school and need to get ahead.

As a student (my name is Youngsuh, i took MEL3E-01), I found this Grade 11 math course really clear and easy to follow, and the teacher’s guidance made a big difference in helping me understand difficult concepts. They were always supportive and explained things in a way that made learning feel less stressful and more manageable.

Online courses are affordable and easy to burn through. But unfortunately the grading process and lack of response from a TVO ILC is horribly slow. If someone on their end actually did their job, then maybe people would actually have an education. They have put me behind and effecting my career progression.

I had a great time learning with OVS! Completing my grade 12 Calculus was made so much easier and got topics across better than I could have ever expected!

Ontario virtual school was very simple for me to operate and use. I really liked how my teacher would reply to any questions very quickly and clearly. I recommend taking courses in OVS since I reviewed course work and completed tests with high marks. I took the calculus and vectors course and the lessons were quite easy to go through as it is entirely asynchronous. While it can be hard working on this course along with day school, getting a good mark is manageable if you take notes and complete all the hw/practice tests (which were really helpful in giving you a good idea on what the actual tests are like). The staff at OVS were super nice and responded to my questions very quickly. My teacher also marked my tests very fast (within 1 day!), so would recommend :)
