Completed the special effects program which included "how to" sessions for injuries, illnesses, prosthetics, painting, tattoo cover, bald cap application, old age and skin color matching to name a few. Each lesson prepares you for next one including the complete character. Each module has an assignment for you to submit to demonstrate what you just learned. I found the feedback from these submissions valuable and insightful. I'm seriously thinking about taking either the Master Makeup and/or Advanced Makeup program just for the versatility.

Great courses, amazing professionals. Currently learning SFX makeup there, really love it. They also take care of all materials you’ll need to successfully complete courses, so you don’t need to break your own head thinking about making your kit for studies.

Just finished the SFX Makeup course. This was the most fun course I have ever taken. The instructional videos are very nicely done and the reviews on homework assignments were returned quickly and were encouraging and helpful. Any questions submitted were answered promptly as well. LOVED this course and fully enjoy doing this work!!

At first, I was hesitant to participate for several reasons, the most important of which was distance learning, but honestly, the team was very cooperative and made me change my mind. Isabella was lovely I was impatiently waiting to see the evaluation of the assignment. I am not lying to you that you are going to be a professional, but I am sure that you will like what I do, believe in ur self more and they will put you on the doorstep of professionalism due to what it contains because it contains a lot of informations that I strongly recommend.

I really enjoyed the training. I’m not a native English speaker, but everything was clear and accessible even with an intermediate level of English.

I am so pleased with my experience at OMA! I was so impressed with the amount of detail and professionalism that was offered. The instructors gave helpful and personable feedback. They know the industry and know how to give the feedback that is going to bring the makeup artist to the next level. I was also impressed that each time I had a question and emailed them, they were responsive and very kind. They did not act like it was an annoyance to email you back. They actually sounded like they cared. There is not enough good things to say about OMA! I feel like I have a real kick start into the industry and a certification to go with it! I am SO EXCITED!!

This course took me a few months to finish. I have a second one to complete but I would definitely but one at a time! I had the best time and I didn't know I could learn this much.

I was very surprised at how good this course was. The tutors are very knowledgeable and professional, and I enjoyed learning about makeup application as well as how to conduct myself in a professional setting. I did the Master Course but might take the special effects class next. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

I was offered the Master Makeup Program and the Advanced Makeup Program, and the Master Makeup Kit in exchange for an unboxing video, including a review.

I learned a lot from the classes, and even more from the personalized feedback from my tutor. She usually sent her video critique within 48 hours. When I emailed questions to her, her response was also as quick.

I've been in online courses before and I knew this was going to be "work," and it was. Don't think your time and attention to detail aren't required to get through this course. You will work for your certificate.

Something that caused me to raise my eyebrows is the Master Makeup Course and the Advanced Makeup Course, together, is the Elite Career Path Program. If you enroll in either the Master Makeup Program or the Advanced Makeup Program, the Master Makeup Kit is included.

If you enroll in the Elite Career Path Program, the Elite Makeup Kit is included. Even through they gave me both programs, which is the Elite Career Path Program, they sent me the Master Makeup Kit. Why is this important?

In some of the lessons and demonstrations they use certain products and say something like, "This will be in your kit." Well, it wasn't in my kit. Of course, they say upfront to use what you have. But, when homework assignments call for glitter, gold leaf flakes, and other products ... it would have been nice to have those items ... which are in the Elite Makeup Kit.

I tell myself both programs and the Master Makeup Kit were given to me, so in that sense, it wasn't a big deal. What Iearned was to be creative in using what I had to try and achieve the look we were to replicate for those homework assignments.

Regarding the Master Makeup Kit, the complexion products included aren't universal. Some products would not work on a complexion deeper than medium-tan. Also, the brush kit that's included isn't good quality.

Love this course! I’m still taking it but I’ve been loving it so far, I’m learning so much!

I started this course a year ago, and I have just now completed the Basic Makeup Course. I still need to finish the Advanced Makeup Course. Although it took me some time, it was undoubtedly hard work. Balancing a full-time job as a staff nurse with freelancing as a hair and makeup artist was challenging, but it was definitely worth it! This course was a great investment, especially for a beginner makeup artist like myself. The lifetime access to the modules and the makeup kit from the OMA Campus are invaluable resources.

What I love about OMA is the flexibility to watch the modules anytime and anywhere, and the prompt responses to any questions. The course content is incredibly informative and comprehensive.
