This website truly revolutionised my journey of learning to drive. After a failed attempt in 2021 and three years away from driving, I was determined to get back behind the wheel in 2024. I signed up for a three-day refresher course to prep for my test, but my instructor's constant shouting left me stressed and overwhelmed, especially when it came to roundabouts. I couldn’t take in any new information during the lessons because of this stress. Each time we came near a roundabout, I felt waves of anxiety and nearly cancelled my test.

Luckily, this course changed the game. I could study roundabout theory and road rules at my own pace from the comfort of my home. The videos were much more helpful than YouTube because they came with interactive quizzes to test my knowledge, like figuring out when to pull out at a roundabout. They show the correct answers afterwards, accompanied by an explanation.

On the second day of my driving course, I did a mock test and dramatically failed: I scored 4 major errors in the first 10 minutes of the test! The day after, having spent the evening studying James’ videos on roundabouts, I passed the mock test with 11 minors. Then, I spent the day before my real test watching all of James’ videos and I passed the next day with only 4 minors! Thank you so much for your resources, James! I could not have passed without you!

My son passed his driving test due to this most comprehensive program! He had lessons before Covid, took his test and failed and then did not drive for 3 years. He then booked his test and gave himself only a week to pass. His driving instructor was not the best and spent a lot of time shouting at him. However this program saved the day - my son went through the excellent video content and it really gave him confidence.
For example, he was really nervous about roundabouts but after watching all the content on roundabouts, he felt confident to tackle any roundabout situation. Through the program, he also had all his questions answered.
We would whole heartedly recommend investing in this program as it will save you money in the long run and make you a better driver. I will certainly be using the program for my daughter, who is about to learn to drive. She is very nervous so it will be ideal for her as she will be able to gain confidence and knowledge, while sitting safely behind a computer screen!
So much thought and expertise has gone into creating this driving program- it is absolutely superb and covers everything you need to know.

I cannot recommend Online Driving Lessons and James enough. I have worried in the past about understanding certain topics of driving that being theory and practical. Once I started learning with James I was much more confident about approaching new subjects. If I was ever unsure on a topic he would explain it to me in a way that suited me. This approach helped me pass first time with flying colours.
I think the idea of learning online through zoom made it much easier. I was able to focus more than if I was learning myself say through an app. Focusing on individual sections through each lesson and applying that to my practical lessons was incredibly beneficial for me. I have really enjoyed this process and the support has been fantastic.

I have had online theory lessons with James and found the experience extremely helpful. Having the online lessons were useful as we went through different sections of the theory course so we could focus on particular sections one session at a time so that we could go in to detail. I was able to ask questions confidently without the worry of being judged. I liked how with the sessions you were able to ask them to elaborate on a topic if you didn’t understand something. When I was focusing on roundabouts in my driving lessons I asked if we could go over roundabouts in the theory lessons too so I had a better understanding of them and he happily added another session to focus on the topic so I could better understand them which I found really helped in my driving lessons.

Before I started lessons with James I had very low hopes in passing the test. I struggled, I didn’t understand what it meant and I had failed theory on a few occasions.

James broke down what was at first a very confusing set of concepts and explained thoroughly, what various bits of the Highway Code meant in a way that was simple, enjoyable, and very easy to remember!

We then undertook some vigorous practice in key areas such as motorway rules and traffic signs.

James’ work installed a much deeper understanding of the content and made me feel much more confident.

After many hours of training, I entered the test centre with confidence, performed the test with calmness and clarity, and ended the test feeling that was the best I could ever do.

I was delighted to have passed and I cannot thank James enough for what he has done.

I truly appreciate the time he has given me.

To those who are struggling and simply don’t understand this part to get your license - please just book with James to get learning, understand it and smash that test with confidence!

First of all I would like to say massive thank you to James for all his help, the teaching methods and structure of the tuition meant that I scored 50 out of 50 on my theory multiple choice questions and passed first time. The website and resources available are wonderful and being able to have a point of contact for any questions meant I really managed to get into the mind frame needed to make my theory test a calm and enjoyable experience, I couldn't recommend the services Online driving lessons offers enough!

Well structured and organised course with great tutor who is knowledgeable and thorough. My daughter had zero knowledge on cars or driving and after the course, passed her theory first time. Really comprehensive content and preparation. Highly recommend.
