So I posted another job for an accountant to help me with the quarterly filings.

French+english video editor for short form content, part time. that language requirement alone cuts the applicant pool down a LOT so didn't get flooded with applications which was actually kind of nice for once setup was maybe 20 min. people who did apply were mostly relevant, not a ton of noise to sort through. 4 stars bc I've only done one round of hiring so can't really speak to the long run yet

I wasn't expecting to get hired in just a matter of days after I signed up.

The job and compensation they offer are really based on what they posted on the platform.

CRM/data role. wanted someone careful, not fast. posted it, got responses, talked to a few, picked one. three days total maybe. nothing complicated about it which is exactly what I wanted honestly

Most straightforward remote job board

I needed a Social Media Assistant to help me manage my pages. I tried their free job posting and didn't expect much but was able to find one in just a few days. Their matching system really helped a lot and saved me time to focus on the ones I should be interviewing first. Would probably use this platform again.

Needed a cold caller, also wanted them to help with admin here and there. Used to do this through Facebook groups which was honestly a nightmare, people would apply twice, messages would just disappear into nothing. This was better. Not perfect, I still had to dig through some applicants who clearly didn't read the posting, but better than what I had before. 4 stars, only used it once so far

Hired a VA through this for data checking + some support stuff. honestly wasn't expecting much but the sorting thing where you see best matches first actually saved me a bunch of time. one girl ghosted after accepting which was annoying but not the platform's fault. would use again probably.

I’ve actually found several great team members here, and what I really like is how much time it saves me when going through applicants. Normally, I'd can get hundreds of applications, and a lot of them either don’t match what I am looking for or clearly didn’t even read the job post. The filtering helps take care of that, so I can focus more on the candidates who are actually relevant to the role.

It’s very straightforward, fast, and honestly, there’s not much fuss. I’ve been able to find the people I needed for specific roles without spending hours just sorting through applications. And whenever I’ve had an issue or needed help, the support team has always been accommodating. Overall, I really can’t complain, it’s made hirng a lot easier for me.

I was looking to recruit a systems analyst (with additional experience in business analysis) and a tester for my team.
When evaluating candidates, I focused on the experience listed in their profiles and importantly - on how they communicated via the platform's chat. The site's built-in candidate ratings serve as a useful guide, though we recognize that no rating can replace real-time interaction.
Overall, the platform enabled me to find staff quite quickly. I formed a positive impression of the site the candidates appear genuine, and I didn't encounter the fake profiles often found on other sites which is arguably the most significant indicator of a platform's quality these days

Found someone good within a few days, and she's already on the team. Worked out well.
