All fine until you have to deal with the support
I have been renting a dedicated server since 2019 on their platform.
Since end of 2021, mail notifications suddenly stopped (no trace on junk mailbox, and their domain is on my whitelist)
There has been an incident yesterday where the invoice was overdue. I paid the bill asap to reactivate the server (which is rented since 2019).
The answer was
" I'm sorry to inform you that the port is currently inaccessible due to the server's architecture.
Any attempt to rectify the issue could potentially impact other users. As a result, your server is currently out of service.
However, I can offer you a server replacement to minimize any inconvenience caused. "
This is not an acceptable response as there is absolutely ZERO solutions for data recovery.
There is important data on that disk and even with periodic backups, there are large pans of data that need to be recovered from it.
Stay away from resellers and order directly from Online.net or other.

While your systems can indicate whether a mail has been sent or not on the basis of the mail servers answer, it does not fully indicate if your mails are getting through and are truly delivered. I have received a total of 49 mails in my inbox, from 13/03/19 to 31/10/21 (latest SMTP from "em8734 . oneprovider dot com" / IP 167 . 89 . 25 . 235). I accept that I should have opened a ticket earlier, but I didn't notice earlier. For your information, the same problem arises on another Outlook mail which isn't linked.
Moreover, the 72h delay of cancellation hasn't been reached. "we were not informed of any issues with your payment until it was long overdue." : The overdue was on 14/02/24 (due on 13/02/24), the payment was made on 14/02/24 night. Is this "long" overdue ?
I wanted to pay even earlier, on 14/02 morning (noticed the overdue because the server stopped pinging on monitoring) but as I wasn't at the office and without password manager. Therefore I tried to reset the password, but just like the invoices and reminders didn't come, the password reset mail never came !
I even sent a mail on 14/02 morning on that subject to "support at oneprovider" (cannot put the entire domain on the review or Trustpilot will delete it) (name : ONEPROVIDER emergency bill payment & passwd reset - Mail not received) and I never had an answer.
So yes ! Communication is crucial.
Finally, let's talk about the explanation about Blade servers and their arguably sketchy design : Servers designed for datacenter use that die during scheduled reboots ? Or are servers electrically shut down when automated service termination does happen ?! (that being said, concerning this point, at least it is not OneProviders choice as they are simply resellers, and the agents who handled my ticket after this review went personally in depth in the explanation and I am thankful for that -even though I was suspecting what happened-, and were also truly understanding, compared to the guy who's answering my Trustpilot review with his preformatted non-genuine answer. Yes sir, I do have automated backups, but the lapse of time of data loss does still matter).

I've been a client with Online.net, Hetzner and OVH on other more important projects.
Firstly, most of the time their support is on point, and importantly the response time is impeccable (based in Europe instead of NA + more training + more staff + true business support options + more tightly linked to the DC).
Secondly, never ever did one of their mails go unreceived on any of our mail (personal mails, company mails).
Thirdly, their control panel isn't absolute garbage like the OneProvider which has been more or less the same since at least 5 years.
Yes, the architectural problems of the cheaper server solutions provided for instance by Online & OVH are the same either on OneProvider or directly. Yes, the risks are the same everywhere (I mentioned OVH, yet part of SBG DC burned down in 2021 and everyone had to rely on backups), but having lesser intermediates is still the best way to go to secure speedy direct interventions whenever it is possible.
Going for resellers like OneProvider is like hosting on guerilla mode, it is useless to rely on anything (but granted, OP is one of the less garbage ones, and I could cope with the trash panel and stuff until now)
Suggesting backups to people is a good healthy IT practice that I totally approve, but it shouldn't be a cover for mediocrity in managing clients of hosted servers in datacenter environment. I do have backups, yet this situation is harmful and is not normal.

Onecloud is a very bad service
Onecloud is a very bad service. I took 3 VPS with Onecloud and each one crashes at least once a week for no good reason
When this happens, I open a support ticket and it takes a minimum of 24 hours before the servers are back online. MINIMUM.
Each time I have no reason why or how my instances crashed.
These services are very bad if you are looking for stability and reliable servers and if you are looking for fast and reliable support.
No way to call them. Forced to wait for a response from them and I can tell you that we are the least of their worries.
I do not recommend Onecloud to anyone unless you want to wait for technical support and have instances that are not accessible.

Worst customer service ever
They only work a few hours and you have to wait 24 hours to get a response.
So if support is not a priority for you then use them.
Orders takes a few days to deliver
Took 4 more days and counting to remove a firewall from my servers still waiting . They use third-party and yet the y don't even understand the third-party systems they use for the server.
Never been frustrated by a provider this much lost a lot of clients due to this.

Twice the size for the same price
We migrated from another provider and for the same price we switched from 3*2Tb (4Tb useful in RAID) to 3*4Tb (8Tb useful).
The server was provided in Debian 10 but we could upgrade to Debian 11, though we had to add a simple boot option (required on old HP server):
in /etc/default/grub: this line must be changed to that:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet intel_iommu=off"
(instead of just "quiet") - apply the change with update-grub
This is due to this bug in Linux Kernel for HP hardware (remove spaces below)

Problems with the initial build but ultimately resolved
There were some problems with the initial Debian install. The ticket had to be escalated to troubleshoot since rebooting 3 times had no affect. The OS had to be reinstalled ultimately. Now we are good to go, connected and setting up the server.
My only issue is that it does take more than twelve hours to get a response to a submitted ticket. That's kind of long for an enterprise tiered server.
