They claim to have great benefits and perks but they charge an outrageous price. They charge $34 for basic and 69$ for standard, when the Black tier membership at planet fitness is only 25 bucks. I guess the benefit is you can work out at different gyms but only so many times at certain gyms so many times per month. So let's say you get unlimited planet fitness access eight classes at orangetheory you can do four sessions at LA fitness.... Things like that which really limit and hamper availability and times based on class schedule.

And it's provided as a perk through insurance like UMR, but what it is is a giant cash grab to get you to pay for something that is cheaper at a a consumer level. Play anybody would pay $69 for a standard monthly membership to a planet fitness or crunch or LA fitness is beyond me when they're only 30 bucks a month anyway.

Terrible customer service. Everything with them seems very robotic. everything is reflected to their policies but yet can't even explain it in human form where you will think they understand. 2025 my minor son had a membership that didn't require $200 fee. i questioned it and they said he wouldn't need to pay it. 2026, i was charged twice-one was refunded but when i questioned this about my 2025 not needing to pay they said he would have to pay but wouldn't make the reward for going 45 days one cuz hes a minor and 2 cuz he doesn't even have kaiser insurance. this was never told in the beginning. they make it hard to speak to a human. 1/27/26 after daryl informed me, it was done my son continued to go, until the gym says he needs a new membership and now they are saying i canceled service and won't re do it without paying another $200.

Extremely difficult to cancel membership and will charge you another month even after you cancel if it isn't 30 days ahead of time.

I called and cancelled the day I signed up, because they did not disclose my 16 year old couldn’t use it. They didn’t cancel the membership and 3 months later continued to charge. Refused to provide any refund. Don’t sign up, it was a nightmare!

Didn’t have the gyms I wanted and charged a full month a half to cancel.

If you’re comfortable handing your money to a company that shows zero regard for its customers, then proceed — otherwise, protect yourself.

The program itself may be useful, but the billing system is built to benefit One Pass, not you. When I had a family medical emergency that required out‑of‑state travel and forced time away from work, I couldn’t make my payment on the 1st and or this month. I had priorities that my caused an unfortunate shift. I needed to use money for an out of state crisis. The moment I transferred money at the bank for my travel, One Pass immediately pulled the funds, leaving me in an even more stressful financial situation.

I reached out, explained the emergency, and asked for the money to be returned, or at the very least applied to the following month since I hadn’t used the membership at all this month.
They refused. Twice. Highlighting the fact that it doesn't fall under the rules. However, there is no written rule covering emergencies. In addition, they want you to cancel 30 days in advance if you want out of the contract. What???? Some people may not know they want or need to cancel that fast in advance. Ridiculous.

Because they “don’t retroactively adjust payments,” I ended up losing gym access and losing my money, essentially paying for nothing during a month when I was already dealing with a family crisis.

The message is loud and clear: their interests come first, and the customer’s hardship doesn’t matter. Proceed with caution.

It seemed like a good option. Seemed pricey to get to the most variety of the best gyms. There was an issue with my sign up (higher tier than I had wanted), they refused to issue a refund for the difference and are saying they're charging me next month. Predatory is right, just beware

I went to my gym because I heard about the One Pass option from my employer sponsored insurance. They said Lifetime Fitness weas part of their group. I came back home, called their service line to confirm Lifetime was in their group. The person on the phone asked what my zip code was and she looked it up. She said Lifetime was included but I had to buy an Elite (of course it had to be Elite) in order for that gym to covered. I bought the Elite pass. I went back to the gym to use it and my gym, whom I checked with before, now said that the code wasn't the one they support. It had to be a code starting with an "A" and mine was "B" code. I came back and immediately called to get this resolved. The person on the phone with One Pass said she was sorry and I shouldn't have been told that one Lifetime was part of the program. She said she would put in for a refund. I thanked her. A few days later, I received an email saying they would not give me a refund. I called again and explained more and the person on the phone said she would provide more information and try again. Today, I received another saying I will not get a refund because I should have noted the terms and conditions plus looked to make sure my gym was covered even though I called and asked their representatives to confirm they were covered.
All UHC wants to do is make money. They do not care about their customers - so beware - it's a complete bait and switch operation completely geared so they benefit from each outcome.

I signed up for One Pass Select through my insurance and was very disappointed. The apps did not work as advertised, navigation was difficult, and the available content was far more limited than what is promoted (thousands of classes). When I contacted support, representatives were not helpful at all.

Be aware that the service may offer significantly less content than advertised and that refunds are not granted even when canceled immediately.

Onepassselect's practice of not pro-rating the first month or starting charges on first of month is BAD BUSINESS!

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS!!! They have terrible and predatory policies that won't let you cancel without squeezing every penny from you. When I signed up it filled in my name instead of my wife's and when we went to switch it, they said it would cost us 170 dollars! We called two separate customer service reps, and both said they are instructed to only give password help, not actual assistance.

I strongly advise against using One Pass. Their service is nothing more than a money grab, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I canceled my membership on September 18, 2025 via the online app, in accordance with their stated cancellation process. Yet, today—October 1, 2025—I was still charged. When I called customer service, they confirmed that because I canceled less than 30 days in advance of the next billing date, my cancellation wouldn’t take effect immediately but would apply only at the end of the second following month. That means I’m stuck paying for one more month.

One Pass’s cancellation policy is buried in the fine print: you must cancel at least 30 days before the first of the next month for your cancellation to take place for the following month; if you cancel later, it pushes out the effective date.

That doesn’t feel like a fair policy. It penalizes users who try to cancel late, even when they do so. Charging me after I explicitly canceled is unethical in my opinion.

If you’re considering One Pass, be extremely careful with timing your cancellation—and don’t trust that canceling via the app will prevent future charges.

How can I give ZERO STARS? This company is an adjunct to health insurance companies like United Health Care (UHC). It's an optional membership. Sign up directly, but they verify your insurance membership every time you log in. OK, I invested hours in understanding the program, signing up. We were members for several months. My main complaint is the predatory policies of this company. NOT user friendly. I wish I could erase my entire experience. They got money out of me with really zero benefit to me. I will never recommend them to any friend or family. I will never join again. It is truly "Too good to be true." Do not waste your time. We will be paying our membership fees DIRECTLY to the local gym and cut out this middle man.
