My Experience with OneDay
I never imagined that at 70, I would find myself going back to school. But one thing hasn't changed with age: my passion for creating, building businesses, and bringing ideas to life.
The rise of artificial intelligence has opened doors I never thought possible for someone like me. Suddenly, things I had dreamed about creating were within reach. What I needed was the knowledge and guidance to turn those possibilities into real businesses.
When I first saw OneDay's advertisement, it literally stopped me in my tracks. I visited the website, watched the introductory video, and immediately felt that this was exactly what I had been looking for.
Now that I'm part of the program, I can say it has challenged me in ways I didn't expect. I've learned that having a great idea is only the beginning. Building a successful business requires understanding your customers, testing your assumptions, being willing to change direction, and doing the hard work.
The program has pushed me outside my comfort zone, and that's a good thing. I'm learning, growing, and looking at entrepreneurship from an entirely different perspective.
I'm grateful for the experience, the guidance, and the opportunity to continue pursuing my dreams.
At 70, I'm discovering that it's never too late to build something meaningful. And OneDay is helping me understand how to do it.

I joined Oneday primarily because I wanted access to mentorship. I had already learned the hard way how much the wrong guidance can cost a founder. I had spent a significant amount of money following advice that ultimately didn’t move my business forward, and by the time I came to Oneday, I was exhausted, discouraged, and had nearly given up on the business altogether. I knew that if I was going to keep going, finding the right mentor mattered.

I wasn’t looking for traditional academic or coaching experience. I wanted someone whose advice was grounded in actually being in the trenches and who had seen startups from multiple sides.

I ended up requesting to work with Robert Manasier because he had built companies across multiple industries and worked with startups from multiple angles. He had run his own startup accelerator, helped founders raise capital, invested in startups himself, and built businesses of his own.

Being a founder is a unique and sometimes grueling experience. His ability to relate to where I was and help me with what I needed at that specific point in time was a game changer. He wasn’t just following a playbook or completing a checklist. He was deep in the weeds with me, helping me navigate each step based on what was actually happening in my business.

Within six months, we took my business from closed to reopened through a unique partnership structure. After reopening, we saw revenue grow by roughly 30% month over month, and we’re now projected to finish this year at 3–4x the annual revenue we did in our first year.

My biggest takeaway is that the right mentor makes all the difference. I’m incredibly grateful to Oneday for connecting me with someone who had the experience I needed. I finished the program with my MBA and, more importantly to me, a growing business that I had nearly given up on.

OneDay is a wonderful program for working professionals and creatives that have a great idea and want to really put their ideas to the test. It's not an easy MBA program, the mentors will challenge you and push you out of your comfort zone. I came in wanting to make adaptive apparel and am close to finishing with an AI care assistant for special needs families.

The mentoring alone would probably be worth it for an early stage start up, but the community, 18 months of boot camp style sprints broken into manageable portions, discounts and partner packages, plus numerous weekly sessions make this a deal that's incredibly valuable. The MBA degree is icing on the cake.

My experience with Oneday has been very positive. The program has challenged me to think differently about my business and has given me greater clarity about who my customer really is. Working with Rashedia has been a positive part of my journey, and I appreciate her guidance and support. I now have a clearer focus on the semi-truck owner-operators I want to serve, and I look forward to working with Oleg as I continue to grow my business. I promised myself after graduating undergrad (in 2019) that that only reason I'd get my master is if a. I needed it to progress in my career, get a promotion, or move up the corporate ladder or b. I wanted to transition into something completely different. Well Oneday is the best of both worlds! I get an MBA AND get to start a business. When I look for employment I get to have those 3 meaningful letter behind my name, plus if I choose to not go the corporate route I have an operating profitable business that I have built. Being in my late 20s there is no better way to end this decade than by setting my self up for success for both avenues.

I have to say without my 1:1 mentor I'd be in a completely lost. I have tried to start my own business multiple times and every time I fit a wall, either with scaling, finding a problem, pricing etc. But my having my dedicated mentor to speak with every week (and sometimes everyday) has helped me systematically tackle each and every hurdle.

If you're in your late 20s like me, looking to take the advice of all the business gurus online and set your self up for success in your 30s, this is the best decision you could make!! Learn the process, execute on the fundamentals, launch before your ready and know what its actually like to build momentum. Because once you do it once, you can do it again, I promise!!

Entrepreneurship isn't lonely at Oneday, you have more support, guidance, and help than you could ever imagine!

The only thing limiting your success is your willingness to bet on yourself, and skill up with frameworks that work, with mentors who care. Your "professor" is a 1:1 mentor that you meet with weekly. Not just there to guide you in the assignments and assessments, but to be there for you and celebrate the wins, and help comfort and guide through the hard times.

Have you ever read a self help book, been inspired, but had no idea how to apply that practically? This will get you through that, with simplified sprints.

Follow the frameworks, trust the process, it works.

I was literally going to close my 5 year business, as I didn't know what to do, and I couldn't get anything to work. Every idea fell flat.

I joined Oneday, I'm not even 1 year into the program, only 9 months into the year, and I've reached 6 figures of gross revenue. $400k in the potential pipeline, with tested and proven frameworks that they helped me fit into my business.

I got more confident in the language my customer speaks, providing the appropriate service that doesn't run low on margins, and isn't unnecessarily over built.

My mentor, Brian, walked me through buying out a business partner (it was better for both of us, saved our friendship), and learning to confidently negotiate with Chris Voss techniques (I negotiated an artist rider from $70k, down to $17k, and got thanked for it!).

I'm not as anxious anymore, or stressed, because I know there's a framework I've learned that I can hire that gets the job done.

Very disappointing lack of pricing transparency

I spent several hours on Zoom calls with Oneday discussing their MBA program, including multiple conversations with their admissions team. During that process, I was trying to understand the total cost and, more importantly, what payment/financing options were available.

What surprised me was that I was told I needed to pay a $30 fee simply to be given information about the financing options available.

To be clear, this was not an application fee for actually applying for financing. My understanding was that the $30 was required just to find out what financing/payment options were available.

That struck me as very unusual. I would expect a prospective student to be able to know the basic financing options, terms, and costs before paying a fee, particularly after investing several hours in Zoom meetings with the admissions team.

What made this more frustrating was that the $30 requirement was not disclosed to me upfront. I only learned about it after spending significant time speaking with the company.

I have no issue with a company charging an application or processing fee when someone is actually applying for financing. My concern is being asked to pay simply to receive basic information about what options are available.

For a program costing £22,800, I think prospective students deserve clear pricing and financing information before being asked to pay an additional fee.

I would encourage anyone considering Oneday to ask specifically about all tuition payment options, financing terms, fees, and when those terms are disclosed before proceeding.

The Oneday MBA program has been an incredible experience and one of the things I appreciate most is how practical and hands-on it is.

Instead of simply learning business concepts from textbooks, you're actually encouraged to build and develop a real business while earning your MBA. You're able to take what you're learning and immediately apply it to your own business, which makes the experience so much more valuable.

Another major highlight is the access to proven founders and experienced entrepreneurs. Being able to speak directly with people who have actually built businesses, overcome challenges, and learned from their own successes and failures is invaluable. The founders and mentors I've interacted with have consistently been knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely willing to help.

If you're looking for an MBA experience that goes beyond theory and gives you the opportunity to learn entrepreneurship by actually doing it, I highly recommend Oneday. It's a unique program that combines education, mentorship, real-world experience, and entrepreneurship in a way that a traditional MBA simply doesn't.

I’m writing this as a female healthcare founder who almost walked away from a six-figure business.

When I joined OneDay (aka "How to Be a Founder" school 😄), I genuinely wasn't sure whether I should shut my company down. Fast forward just 3.5 months, and I now have complete confidence that I can grow it into a 7- or even 8-figure business if I choose to. That shift alone has been life-changing.

I’m a current student with OneDay and frankly this MBA program is revolutionary! I have 3 other master’s degrees and this program is hands on building, well delivered, and extremely well designed for optimal learning. I cannot recommend this program enough. I'm very grateful I stumbled across this program. I've tried to launch businesses before and got nowhere. With the education, resources, and support One Day has given me, I finally feel like my entrepreneur dreams are obtainable. The first 12 weeks I was focused on a different business idea that really wasn't the best fit for me. Once I pivoted to something I was truly passionate about, with my mentor's guidance, things have taken off. Within a month of pivoting, I made revenue. Now, its been 3 months since I pivoted and I am working on expanding my offered services. I love the lean startup method approach that One Day uses and it really works. One Day has given me the opportunity to have informative instructors, a network of entrepreneurs, an experienced mentor, an extensive library of resources, and helped me start a local service-based business with paying customers... and the icing on the cake is that I'll have a MBA at the end of this. I'm in my final class of the Oneday program, and it's been quite a journey: ideation, discovery, experimentation, pivots, and a business with growing traction. Every Class Lead was a kind, supportive, and experienced entrepreneur, often with multiple exits, and that experience shaped my own growth as a founder in ways I didn't expect. My personal mentor, Janko M., has grown from a guide to a friend, and I don't think I'd have gotten here without him. His help analyzing both my mindset and the practical side of my business gave me the clarity to rebuild it multiple times, moving away from what wasn't working until I found something that was both profitable and met a real need. One positive outcome of many: I raised my prices by over 35% and still attracted new customers. I'm deeply grateful for this program. It didn't just teach me ideas, it changed real decisions I was making in my business every week.

Well, my initial review I wrote got deleted because I got distracted lol.

But anywho , the Oneday platform is a priceless tool in your entrepreneurship journey . If you’ve ever felt lost in finding a way to make your passions meet your purpose , or if you don’t even know what that purpose is yet , you will most likely find your tribe and be able to articulate your value by the end of your oneday journey .

I’m only in the 2nd module but I’m so grateful for my squad , my one to one mentor (shout out to Krista !) and the access to the hundreds if not thousands of other entrepreneurs , oneday staff (shoutout to Lana - she’s always fixing our issues and her turnaround time is unbeatable ).

Oneday is flexible ,reasonably adapts to you as you adapt to it (deadlines , new projects and concepts etc) oneday quickly begins to develop your business comprehension, but if you’ve ever felt feel it’s too fast or too slow there’s adjustments that can be accommodated .

I’m very happy to have found this program . It has connected me with so many people I would not have otherwise met , helped me to improve my business I had before oneday while building a new one , advocate for myself in multiple aspects of life … the kindness and support from instructors , your squad etc is unlike anything I’ve commonly experienced before .

As an aside unrelated to one day (don’t worry I will bring it back ) , my health has improved immensely in the midst of completing my program . I have discovered severe iron deficiency my doctors never caught in over 20 years & is a national health crisis . I plan on incorporating this into a business model using the principles I have learned through one day’s techniques , masterclasses and texts used in our lessons / sprint weeks.
I also plan on talking to a couple of people in my squad about an additional idea their expertise could use ( jumbo loan specialist and a surgical assistant with over 15 years experience each ) .

Without oneday , I probably would not be in a position to do this . I saw the ads for months before I tried it, also had to get my funds up for the tuition lol. But if you’re thinking about it , go for it . It can only help.

Oneday has opened many doors and understandings for me. My mentor, Melissa R., has been my greatest champion and has even brought me direct leads in times of need. I have read many interesting books, made many contacts, and learned a lot in the last 6 months since starting, and I am excited to continue building my business and entrepreneurial career with the help and guidance of Oneday.

When I started, I was thinking about RanaITek Solutions mostly as a service-based business offering digital marketing, automation, and technology support. Through the program, especially through the sprints, mentor feedback, and weekly assignments, I began to see RanaITek differently. I started understanding it as a growth partnership built around strategy, systems, execution, and measurable business outcomes.

The sprint structure has helped me move from broad ideas into real action. I worked through customer discovery, value proposition development, risky assumptions, MVP thinking, offer design, lead generation, pricing, and funnel strategy. That shift changed the way I think about my offers, proposals, pricing, and overall positioning.

Because of OneDay, I have made meaningful progress. I have refined RanaITek’s service structure, improved my messaging, created stronger lead generation strategies, built clearer offers, developed AI and automation tools to support my sales process, and started converting real clients. The program has helped me gain confidence, but more importantly, it has helped me build with evidence, structure, and discipline.

OneDay is not just a program that gives you information. It pushes you to think, test, refine, and execute. For entrepreneurs who are serious about building something real, the structure, mentorship, and accountability are incredibly valuable.

16 months into the One Day MBA program and I can honestly say it’s been a completely different experience from a traditional MBA.
