We need to have zero tolerance for…
We need to have zero tolerance for companies like this and make it easier for people to report them.
Let me explain how this type of company operates. There are other companies, such as Learning Saint, that follow a similar pattern. They ask you to share your Afterpay or Affirm information/code and then set up a loan in your name. They are very prompt about reimbursing you for the first installment, but after that, they stop making payments and eventually stop responding altogether.
What makes this even more concerning is that they do not appear to have a valid business address. Even the phone numbers listed on their website are incorrect or do not work.
If you need more proof, please contact me. I would be more than happy to provide the WhatsApp conversations and other evidence showing how they simply stop responding after a certain period.
Please stay away from this company and do your research before engaging with them. If you have had a similar experience, please report it to the appropriate authorities so that others do not fall victim to the same scheme.
I am also planning to report my experience to the relevant authorities.
