I did not know a hard search would be carried out - my excellent credit rating has now been compromised. If I had known this before making the application I would not have proceeded.

While checking your eligibility does not affect your credit score, submitting a full application for the Ocean Credit Card results in a hard search being recorded on your credit file by Capital One, the lender.
