Don't mess with these people! They'll hold your money ransom, never get your items til it's too late and then want to charge you nearly 7 bucks to return the crap! It's a headache don't do business with these people

This New York & Company business model stink bad! The customer experience is no existing. Been on the phone with their customer service line for almost 72 hour and no one is picking. They don't have a customer service obviously. The order tracking they have doesn't appear to be updated on any type of regular basis but yet they had no problem taking the order and charging my card. I am taking them to the BBB it's ridiculous in this day and age a company is being allowed to operate in this manner

This company is a scam. They are stealing money! Stop taking oeder yiu know you can’t full fill ! It is all a scam . Once you receive an email saying your oder has shipped, the tracking number doesn’t work. We want our money back ! Keep the items ! No one answers calls , no emails ( they bounce) . Reporting to the BBB.

Just like everybody else said this company did not deliver their packages. I received only one of my 3 items. I purchased everything on 11/26 and got the first item on 11/15. I tried calling customer service and got disconnected right away and called back and nobody answered. Also nobody answered my emails. I am going to contest this through my credit card company.

So sad in what has happened to this company! DO NOT PLACE ANYMORE ORDERS....They have filed Bankruptcy and not sending complete or past orders. You can't get ahold of anyone and no response to my emails. Great clothes.....but a De-funked company. They have "checked-out" on you!

What is happening with New York & Company! Place an order from 11/15 and it’s still processing! Also returned a few items that I have not got credited for! Not to mention I waited over an hour on phone for customer service and no one answered! Crazy! They have lost a loyal customer here!

I use to be a frequent shopper of New York & Co, but will never shop there again! I already thought it was unfair that a company who is “online only” didn’t offer free returns… However, I’ve now had 2 orders ‘processing’ for over a month; and they are holding $250 of my money! I’ve spent hours on the phone, trying to talk with someone, but they never pick up. It took about 2 weeks to receive a response to my email, and all they said was their warehouse is behind, and my request to cancel my orders was denied.

I never received an order confirmation email. My items have not been shipped & customer service will not cancel my orders… yet they are holding my money. Also, since the order will now be VERY late (if it even comes), I won’t need it anymore…. And based on the companies policies, I will have to pay to return whatever I receive, and then hope they refund me faster than they ship??? This is ridiculous!

I placed and ordered with New York and Company.com on December 13th. I also paid extra for shipping to guarantee that my items will be delivered in time for Christmas.However, as of today my items still haven’t been shipped ad they are refusing to refund my account. I spoke to a customer service rep Kayle who refused to put a supervisor on the telephone. Kayle also informed me they are not allowed to provide a refund when orders are pending.

Placed an order with New York and Company one11/25/22. The order was supposed to delivered on 12/10/22 for the first part of the shipment. The package did not arrive. Tracked the package and it has been sitting at the post office since 12/09/22. The second package was supposed to arrive on 12/14/22 and guess what it's still sitting at the post office. Tried calling customer service and sat on the phone for hours without anyone answering. Email customer service 3 days ago and still no response. This looks really bad and makes me not want to order from them again. What makes this situation so bad that the items I order are Christmas presents.

I am so disappointed with this company. They used have the fasted service. I always ordered from them and had never problem. But I don’t know what is happening to them. I ordered 9 Item back on 11/26. The tracing number says still processing . Finally I got 5 of the item . I tried to contact them via email. The email doesn’t go through, and the phone I am still waiting for someone to answer, waiting 20 min!!!! Ridiculous!!!

If I could give no stars I would. This company is by far the worst. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere. I placed an order on Nov 25,2022 it is now Dec 17,2022 and my order is still processing. I try calling about my order and I get a busy line each time. I go to chat with a representative and I get nowhere with them. I have not received an email or any type of update since I placed my order. This company is very unprofessional. Worst yet you will not be able to cancel your order. So BEWARE this company is a joke. I do not recommend them for nothing.

I placed an order for one item on 11/29 and it’s still processing. I’ve sent two emails which were ignored and tried by phone many times on hold for 2 hours and no one picks up. This company is a SCAM

Horrible customer service!!! Placed an order 22 days ago and 10 out of 11 items still have not even been processed. Cannot get through to customer service on the phone after waiting for over an hour. The representatives through chat will not give me an estimate of a shipping date & keep saying "no worries" it will come before Christmas (7 days away now). They also will not let me cancel the order. Their solution is for me to wait until I receive them & then return them. Just unacceptable! DO NOT ORDER from NY&Company.

OMG😳 I wish I would’ve read the reviews before purchasing online. This is horrible. I placed an order on December 6 it is now December 16 my order is still processing I have no clue when it will be shipped . I ordered this especially for Christmas. Called several times to customer service stayed on hold for hours still wasn’t able to get through. Sent numerous emails and no response. Reading the reviews I guess I shouldn’t expect my package anytime soon .

I was literally searching the internet for complaints on the delivery time. I ordered 12/2 at 1202 AM. Received an automated confirmation - Your order should arrive in approximately 5-7 business days or sooner if an expedited delivery method was selected. Of course, it’s a Christmas gift. I ordered bc of the sale.
Sent an email 12/13 … nothing. Called 12/15 and waited over 1 hr. The rep could only tell me what I could see myself on the order status. She couldn’t give me an indication of when the order “might” ship nor could she cancel the order bc it had been processing too long - No Kidding!!

I wish I'd read the reviews before ordering. Paid for 5-7 day delivery 12-1-22. It's now 12-16 and still haven't received my order. Did get in touch with someone after holding for at least 1hr (plus) and they were from India UGG! 2nd time it was a little better but still false promises. I'm truly disappointed to say the least! I really want to put 0 stars. I will never order from them again......

I received a beautiful scarf and gloves set from a student (6 or 7years old) where I am a crossing guard. I loved it and went to wear them but found that the gloves were both for the right hand.

I called the company and even though I had the original packaging with the tag and sku still attached, they would not exchange it without the original order number from the little girl's family.

I feel that it's wrong to give the gift back to the child telling her that there's something wrong with it.

I offered to send a photo or the product back but they would not do anything without the original order number.

I was also on hold for almost two hours before anyone picked up the call.

Lousy customer service!

I’ve read a lot of the comments from other customers & I couldn’t agree more with all the comments! I have been so frustrated with the service from this company that I decided to google any comments to see if it was just me feeling this frustration!! But lo & behold, I came across all these comments that reflect exactly how I feel about NY&CO’s current service. It is absolutely abysmal!!! I have also been a long-standing customer of this company, raving about the quality of their clothes & their service but it is so far from that at that moment. My negative experiences are so many but the key ones are still missing orders after a month!!! Missed orders that were supposed to be presents for my family but arrived weeks late. Their return process is just as bad. It takes forever and not coordinated in anyway so it is hard to confirm when the refund is credited to your account. Through all this frustration, no one responds to emails & you can’t reach them via phone! It is the most ineffective & frustrating service I have ever experienced! Stop taking orders if you cannot support the demand!!!!! I’m also definitely going to report them to the BBB.

I placed an order for over a week and it’s still in processing status. The reason I placed this order is to use it on a holiday party and I won’t be receiving it in time. I called customer service department and after a 35 minutes on hold, the representative read to me the same disclaimer that’s on the website. I asked to expedite the shipment that I gladly will pay for it, and she answered she couldn’t do it. I asked to cancel the order since I wasn’t going to receive it on time and she couldn’t do it either. Why did they even have the expense of providing a customer service number when their representatives can’t provide the basis services of customer service. No wonder their company has degraded so much and had to closed many of the stores. They shouldn’t treat their loyal customers this way. I have been a credit account holder for many years, but I will be closing it ASAP. I will make sure to place this review on every major social media and fashion site. Please, Stop the mockery of your loyal customers. We deserve better. I will take my business somewhere else, since they don’t appreciate it.

Absolutely horrible. I placed an order November 16 and it is now December 15 and the order has still not shipped. I paid extra to have my order on time. After waiting on hold for customer service for 45 minutes they still had no answers if I would get my order before Christmas. All they could say is that they were sorry but did not know when it will be shipped due to having issues with their courier. This will be my last time ordering something from them.
