Not full information given until deposit is paid
I paid the deposit for a car that was in good condition (theoretically), and arranged a rental car and someone to drive me down to pick it up (as I'm not based locally). A day before I was supposed to pick it up (and after having already hired an insurance that was more expensive than originally quoted), I was told that certain repairs (which I was not made aware of prior to paying the deposit) had yet to be made.
I then had to negotiate for the car to be delivered, as they wanted to charge me for delivery even if I had already incurred expenses for a pick up that never happened. More sudden breaks kept happening, and the delivery date kept getting delayed. Eventually, I bought another car and requested my deposit back, as the conditions I was sold the car under were not true.
I have now requested the libro de reclamaciones, and will see if they are operating legally and they actually provide it (which I'm not 100% certain they will).
All in all, the cars don't seem to be well maintained, and the information provided prior to placing a deposit for a car is different than the one given afterwards. THEREFORE, I WOULD AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE. Don't waste your money here.
