Just back from our second Nonstop Snow course in Fernie (where we have skied many times over the years). Another first class experience with everything well planned as always from booking through to travel and the on the ground team. Exceptional instruction over the two weeks and of course Fernie itself which is a great town. We will be back!

We'd never been on a nonstop course before and felt like we were taking a chance - and we were so delighted that we did! The whole experience was fabulous and really great value. The level of instruction was superb and loads of great people on the course and looking after everything in the Red Lodge hotel. Would completely recommend!

Yes Fernie is a great resort, the instruction was excellent and the food was good but what really makes non-stop a cut above is the people. From Casey who drove the non stop bus, Andy our instructor and all the people working in the chalet- they were all without exception friendly and went out of their way to make our stay memorable, Definitely going back 👍👍👍

This was my first time attending a non-stop camp. I joined the 2 week snowboarding program in Fernie. The coaching from Stan was sooo good. There is so much to work on to be an excellent snowboarder and Stan provided so many foundations and drills.
Met Nikki on the cat ski day and she was great too, providing some top tips for boarding and getting out of deep pow.
The staff at Red Tree Lodge were excellent too and well led by Adam. There was never anything too much to ask and Adam was so helpful. Thank you!
I enjoyed it so much, I've booked again for next year.

Nonstop are a super organised and fun crew. They made my six weeks in Fernie an amazing experience. Highly recommended.

This was my first time with Nonstop at Fernie and the experience was fantastic.
All aspects of the Nonstop course were great and the Nonstop team on site at Fernie were excellent and did their very best to ensure all participants have an enjoyable experience.
I had two instructors across my 4 weeks and both instructors were excellent.

I am certainly considering retuning to Fernie next year with Nonstop.

This is my third visit to Fernie with NonStop Snow, this speaks for itself, on each occasion I have met people who have are also no their third, four or fifth trips. All the those in my group this year (first timers) have said that they wish to return next year.
The instruction, administration and planning is excellent. All members of the team in Fernie make you feel welcome and do their very best to make your trip a happy and enjoyable experience.

Everything was great.

The instructors are amazing. They broke me down, back to the very basics of snowboarding, then built me back up. I am now comfortable on pretty much all terrain on a mountain where before I would stick to groomers.

The social aspect is great too. I made several friends and made tentative plans to meet for ski trips in the future.

Not only is the ski instructing world class, but so are the staff and hosts. What an incredible holiday and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to develop their skiing!

Only feedback I would have for the Nonstop crew is to be slightly better at communicating the schedules etc, it's shared on a shared drive. But there's a WhatsApp group that could be used daily to remind people of social events or early mornings etc

Your ski group is super important too, as I found people didn't socialise toooo much outside of their main daily group.

Nonstop has it down. From the accommodations to the food to the coaching and terrain, it is all absolutely amazing. For anyone on the fence; this is the best way to invest in yourself!

Nonstop’s Master the Mountain course in Fernie was an incredible experience from start to finish. The coaching was very good, instructors were skilled, supportive, and genuinely passionate about helping us improve. Whether it was technical riding, backcountry skills, or building confidence on steeper terrain, their guidance made a huge difference. The entire Nonstop team was fantastic, making everything run smoothly and creating an amazing atmosphere throughout the course. And the location? Absolutely unreal. Stunning mountains, endless terrain, and the perfect place to push your riding to the next level. If you're looking for an unforgettable snowboard experience, I can't recommend Nonstop enough!

I have done Nonstop camps in Cervinia, Italy (1 week improver) as well as Fernie (2week improver and Master the Mountain) in 2024 and 2025.

* Great Coaching on technique still getting better and better after 30 years of skiing.

* Good company - good vibes and great to keep meeting like minded people sharing similar passion for skiing, as well as catching up with old friends.

* Cervina has great snow at the start and end of the season and its a great way to start and end your season.

* Fernie is a nice quiet friendly destination with a mix of challenging terrain.

I recently spent 4 weeks at the Fernie Alpine Resort for Nonstop Snow coaching camp, and I just wanted to share my positive feedback.

The coaching was first-class, with full days dedicated to improving our skills. Coaches Stan and Mark were amazing, and their guidance truly helped me transform into a better snowboarder. Their inputs were spot-on and made a huge difference in my technique and confidence on the slopes.

The camp was extremely well-organized, starting from the airport pick-up to drop-off. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, from the front desk staff to the kitchen manager and even the bus driver. Everyone was so helpful and made the experience even more enjoyable.

Accommodation was great, with massive comfortable beds for a perfect rest after a day on the mountain. The amenities, especially the pool area, were fantastic—it was the perfect spot for riders to relax and share fun stories after a great day of riding.

The food was really good, keeping us energized and satisfied throughout the camp.

Overall, Non Stop Snow gave me not just new snowboarding skills but also new friendships and amazing memories to start the year with. I highly recommend the camp to anyone looking to improve their snowboarding skills while enjoying a friendly and well-organized experience.

The coaching was off the charts as I went from an intermediate skier to being able to carve groomers and navigate black diamond off-piste terrain.

Everything was on-point: the lodge, saunas/hot tub, game room, movie room, chef, sommelier/service team, heated boot room, ski lockers (both at lodge and mountain), ski tuning room and of course the international flavor of a great group to experience it all with!!!

Then there's the cute little town of Fernie that always seemed to provide great dining and night life.

Lastly, there is the glorious mountain that is Fernie Alpine Resort........snow fell 11 of the 13 days we were there in late December. I'm still dreaming of Cedar Bowl and Currie Bowl Glades :)

I have attended both Fernie (2025) and Serre Chevalier (2023) camps, with focus on off piste skiing and duration of 4 weeks each. I would strongly recommend these camps. Non stop offers ski improvement camps for grown up people while most other companies only offer short courses or instructor courses with the majority of the participants in their 20s (I am in my 40s, and have been skiing and snowboarding for 20+ years)

My highlights for both courses that may help you decide:

Serre Chevalier
- really great instructors.
- accommodation was amazing
- food in France
- medieval towns around the resort
- Amazing terrain. True off piste. We were using transceiver, shovel and probe most of the time and skiing off boundaries with the instructors.
- Snow conditions were great in January 2023 with 2 weeks of powder
- Trip to legendary La Grave

Fernie
- Best instructors I’ve ever had. Some game changing teaching
- very social. Lots of participants so chances that you will find like minded people are high.
- not really off piste. Just ungroomed terrain or trees inside the resort. Instructors will not take you off boundaries of the resort (unless you’re in a course with touring). Much more of a big deal to ski outside the patroled area. It feels that it’s because of legal concerns but I could be wrong. Anyway, there’s not many people in Fernie so there’s no real need to leave the resort
- only 6 cm snow in 4 weeks in January 2025 😢

Really great experience. Very good instructors. Great combination of technical and let's ski something challenging. My skiing has improved out of recognition. Food at lodge was comfortable. Transport always good and punctual. Any issue we had Non stop were very responsive

I had a very good skiing coaching with no-stop, my skills improved and I feel more confident now:)
However the accommodation (red tree lodge in Fernie) was far below my standards especially for the cleaning service: the bathroom has never been sanitized, just wiped out the dust and the bedroom’s floor hasn’t been vacuumed. I believe this is the basic of hygiene in developed countries but apparently it is consider “additional housekeeping in Canada”, in other words “additional charges for minimum hygiene”. Anyway I will choose more wisely next time :) thank you.

Fernie Camp
All instructors are excellent teachers! You can definitely improve your skiing skill!
Red tree hotel is clean … But try to book a room away from first floor library room. It’s actually a party room some night!
Food need big improvement! Bad breakfast!

If anything goes wrong with your course, they will do absolutely nothing to accommodate and help. Before booking just consider that.
