We are using NinjaOne for RMM
We are using NinjaOne for RMM, we also have the documentation and ticketing systems. We're a fairly small shop (under 50) but we are tech heavy and so it has been helpful having an RMM. I use Ninja on a daily basis so like almost everything there are pros and cons. The cons is that i think their software deployment process could be improved, I end up have to write powershell scripts to scan for registry and file versions in order to create groups, so lots of groups and scripts that don't have a way to group so that its easier to manage them. There are filters but i think this area could be improved. On the pro - it allows me to get remote shells on users computers which i use often, it has its own remote desktop connection which works well. the documentation we don't use enough (never enough time) and the ticketing is ok for our needs. They seem to be constantly changing/improving stuff so thats a positive. I have some experience with Action1 and I would prefer NinjaOne mainly for the remote access. Overall its a tool i use daily and it has helped us with most administration needs.
NinjaOne is an amazing tool for IT departments
NinjaOne is an amazing tool for IT departments as it helps with so many various areas: remote monitoring and management of endpoints, patching both operating system and applications, and vulnerability assessment.

What made our experience great was the right tool for the right job - even when I didn't yet know I needed the tool. With covid and a change from mostly VDI to a mix of VDI and laptops - remote users I was at a loss how to reliably support the new endpoints. As a small IT department I quickly learned that NinjaOne would fill the support gap for us remarkably well. I use patching, automation and soon ticketing. I'm not sure why it has such a low rating here but the only thing I can fault is perhaps a tiny bit of learning curve. But then I had never used an RMM tool before (of any kind).
NinjaOne Top Notch
We have been using NinjaOne for a few years now. It is a great product. We've had no issues. They continue to add features in a timely manner. We've been very satisfied with the product.

NinjaOne Account Manager Leads
Bad leadership can undo even the strongest teams. During my time at NinjaOne, I saw how an overly micromanaging and ineffective CSM management style under CSM Manager Ninad Pandit slowly pushed talented, hardworking employees out the door (Oscar, Ben, Faraaz and Emma). Instead of empowering people, the approach created frustration and burnout. It was a reminder that retaining great employees isn’t just about perks or products, it’s about trust, competence, and knowing when to lead versus control. Ninjaone its the time to review the managers and consider Ninad Pandit one of the worst NinjaOne Australian employees. MJ was much better than Ninad when he led the CSM team in Australia.. #Ninad has to be out of NinjaOne AU asap as he has zero management skills.
Blatant Harassment
For five years I've been asking these people to stop contacting me. They email me, call me and leave me voicemails incessantly. They couldn't care less, it's obviously a joke to them. DO NOT REACH OUT FOR A QUOTE. They will NEVER lose your contact information and will harass you for YEARS.
DO NOT PURCHASE
We have used several remote applications and this is the worst by far. It takes more than twice the time to access my work and accomplish anything. It has split my work into two screens and makes me surf up and down like the old days before humans figured out how to display everything on the screen provided. It is a nightmare. DO NOT recommend!
I'm really unhappy with the Sales team
I'm really unhappy with the Sales team. They feel like car salesmen, each with their own agenda and prices that change weekly. There is no transparency and they are not trustworthy. We will take our business elsewhere. Be warned.
Disappointing Ticketing System feels Like an Afterthought
We initially chose NinjaOne’s ticketing system after a promising demo and because we were already using their RMM tool. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t match the sales promises.
We were told the system was ITIL-based – it’s not. It only includes Incident and Problem, and even those are implemented incorrectly. Features like satisfaction scores, dashboards, categories/subcategories, and ticket templates were all promised but either don’t exist or require third-party add-ons.
Reporting is very limited and essentially unusable without external tools. The “boards” are just renamed views, and there’s no proper resolution field. We asked about task management within tickets and were told tasks could be enforced before closure – but you can’t even create a ticket with a task list.
Support has been disappointing. Our account manager stopped responding, and we were passed around. One support engineer even broke our reporting while trying to fix a notification issue – we had to fix it ourselves.
The RMM tool is solid, but the ticketing system feels like a bolt-on with minimal development or support. Ironically, NinjaOne uses Zendesk for their own ticketing – had we known that earlier, we might have looked elsewhere.
Unless NinjaOne invests in serious improvements, I’d recommend looking at other solutions if ticketing is a priority.
At least I'm ot the only one here…
At least I'm ot the only one here leaving a bad review.
So I ask for the free demo of the software but the call center told me they cannot release because I don't have a minimum commitment.
Acronis is giving me the free trial and also the extension of the trial without having to declare the minimum commitment at least I can try and decide how to set up my business.
Dodgy Sales Team ... Typical Tactics
Sales team said they would follow up after demo with "end of month" pricing for a small MSP shop looking to switch from a competitor and never followed up with pricing or pursued further. They don't care about small business MSP's. Will take my clients and money elsewhere to someone who cares about small business.
I'm seriously concerned about Ninja's…
I'm seriously concerned about Ninja's reliability. It reports devices as up to date when they clearly aren't. My laptop was running Edge version 122, released in February 2024 while version 130, released back in October 2024, wasn’t even detected. No pending or missing updates were shown in the portal. That’s unacceptable for a patch management tool. On top of that, Ninja doesn’t reliably report vulnerabilities, unlike Action1, which consistently does. Right now, Ninja is giving me more reasons to doubt it than to trust it.

spams with mail invitations for IT events and then starts following up by unwanted call.
NinjaOne has become the go to Tool
NinjaOne has become the RMM go to Tool for our organisation, as a Managed Service Provider, we are able to troubleshoot and perform all necessary work to support our clients
The NinjaOne team is always at hand making our job so much simpler
Dodgy sales team
Received unsolicited email and phone call from company without contacting them beforehand. Sales rep lied about where he got they contact information and did not reveal the actual source from which my information was obtained.
Regrettably using NinjaOne since 2020
We have been using NinjaOne since 2020. While the software served as a decent starting RMM, it often fell short of the promises made, such as the integration with Bitdefender GravityZone and market-comparable pricing for backup solutions. Additionally, it took over three months to discontinue services that were no longer available as add-ons within the portal.
As an MSP, we experienced fluctuations in our monthly usage. Despite being sold on a per-seat model, the subscription-based contract required us to notify them five days in advance of any changes. On January 10th, I informed Jake Hunter, our account manager, via email and phone that we would be transitioning to ConnectWise. I emphasized the need to avoid penalties due to the five-day notification requirement.
By March, NinjaOne expressed surprise and delayed the transition by almost three weeks, attempting to extend it beyond the five-day period to charge us for endpoints we no longer had installed. Despite having zero endpoints, they claimed we did not provide a 60-day notice.
I advise caution when dealing with NinjaOne, especially if your account manager is Jake Hunter. Ensure all communications are documented, as reducing or terminating services can be challenging.
Sales team very rude
Sales team very rude, tried to inquire what the end customer was, claiming to want to know the project.
Impossible demo for my company if the end customer's data was not provided.
If the sales team was like that, how about the support team.

Sales Team were very eager and happy…
Sales Team were very eager and happy for me to join,
and speaking with technical staff has always been pleasant and helpful, however It is a real shame to see a lot of missing functionality that needs to be provided by the customer/myself.
The platform has a lot of bugs to iron out with software and scripts inconsistently running on endpoint devices and with varying success.
As just a monitoring tool, it is excellent but for management... not so much
I would also disagree with the salesman statement that NinjaOne is easier to setup than Intune as Intune is feature complete and provides options and tools to diagnose and solve problems.
