Professional Home Fitting Standalone Nextbase now offers a professional fitting service conducted by our partner and their trained engineers. This standalone service is for customers that have already purchased a Nextbase Dash Cam. Fitting can be at a place of your choosing, including your home or workplace (within UK mainland), to offer the ultimate convenience. The team of trained fitters can hardwire your Nextbase dash cam into a range of vehicles including cars, lorries, trucks, and vans. They will mount dash cam to your windscreen, ensuring it gets the optimum viewing angle, and connect it your fuse box meaning no wires are on show. The skilled engineers can hardwire in any of the current dash cam range, including rear camera modules when purchased direct from our site. Sold out Add to cart How it works? The Professional Home Fitting includes the Nextbase Hardwire Kit (RRP £25) in the cost of purchase. This will be delivered to you prior to the installation with the team. The RS Connect team of fitters will be in touch via text message shortly after the order is placed to arrange a suitable date and time for installation. Our partners, RS Connect also offer a home fitting service when ordering a Dash Cam via our website. This 'standalone' service is primarily for those that have already purchased a Dash Cam and would like it professionally installed. Disclaimer The fitters will only fit brand new Nextbase Dash Cams purchased either directly via the Nextbase website, or via an approved retailer. Please be aware that spare adhesive mounting pads are provided inside the box in case of any change of vehicle or failure. We are happy to offer a replacement adhesive plate in accordance with our 12-month warranty policy should it be needed. The RS Connect installation service does not cover revisits for the purpose of reapplying a new adhesive to your windscreen. Home fitting appointment times vary, but normally fall within 1-2 weeks. During the busy seasons (Black Friday and Christmas) these times will be affected. (No Rear Window Camera Cable supplied) Installation Questions + Why should I get my Dash Cam professionally fitted? It gives you a neat and tidy connection in your vehicle as no wires are on sight. Recommended for use with the Intelligent Parking Mode feature on all models, particularly when using a Rear Camera model too. The hardwire kit ensures you always stay connected and you never need to worry about knocking the cigarette lighter socket out of place. It frees up your 12V power supply to use with other devices – e.g. charging your phone.

I have been let down twice now by RS Connect, on both occasions whilst waiting for the engineer to arrive having taken time off work, I call to ask where he is and RS Connect reply that he has called in sick. At no time dod they notify me. The worst contractors and Nextbase should find another company.

I have had this setup before, unfortunately, the car it was in was stolen, but that did not stop me from immediately replacing it in the replacement car. I find the system works extremely well, and it has helped capture some really bad driving, which the police have followed up on, due to the option of sending clips direct to the police.

Was asked by my fitter if I can make him a cupped tea without me even offering him one he also asked if he can change his phone inside my house. Don’t feel this was very professional service

Once the hurdle of booking the fitting was overcome (faulty online software and 25 minute wait in the phone), this service proved to be excellent and very good value for money. The technician arrived precisely on time and proved to be professional, knowledgeable and competent. He completed a very neat job in just under an hour. I was very impressed.

You never sent the hardwiring kit, so the fitter couldn’t put the Dashcam in the vehicle

Bought on 24th April . Dashcam is still in the box as i'm still waiting for the nextbase to be fitted. 2 cancellations so far. Fingers crossed for 29th May
