Neighbor.com is terrible for short term parking situations and is basically another layer of service that you don't need
I needed temporary parking urgently for my trailer & truck while passing through Dallas. Stumbled on the neighbor.com app and decided to use it. Going through the process late at night after driving 12 hours, it seemed convenient, but it wasn't. I stated I needed the space for a few weeks - not a month. I was lead to believe that I needed their insurance to cover my stuff when I already had my own - no way to rectify. Now that I want to end my lease, I'm charged a fee to make me pay the full month (from a prorated one, I believe), as well as a remainder amount for the insurance payment (that I didn't need). So pissed off and will never use or recommend Neighbor.com. It's like booking a flight with a third party and dealing with the extra bureaucracy and eventually, no help except to take your money. I had to contact 2 different companies to ensure I wasn't going to be auto-charged. Instead, go direct to RecNation or google your area for specific businesses.

Neighbor exceeded my expectations
My experience with Neighbor and the storage host in Nashville, TN, was awesome. I rented from November 2022 to April 2026. My vehicle required a 20x10 ft space — comparable spaces at traditional storage facilities were substantially more expensive. Neighbor's platform, customer service, and terms create a win/win for all involved. Their platform was new to me prior to the online searches that led me to an ungettable 40 months of rental. I would definitely recommend Neighbor to anyone needing temporary or long-term rental.
