Mixed.
The gents on the ground were good. I had booked for 8.30am, all of a sudden my appointment was changed with no notice, thankfully the gents on the accommodated. I wasn’t the only customer with the same issue. I was also told I would receive a receipt for my excess together the warranty by email in the next 24 hours, which I haven’t had over two weeks later. So people on the site good, the admin behind, not so good.

The worry and the reality.
Alarming estimates about the possible time-frame for the replacement from the admin centre, though a short wait time for the appointment which was good. Speedy service from the actual technicians at Thetford, and they were up front and realistic about the time it would take, and accurate. No problems at all. Lesson to take from this is: don't book a cinema trip because the computer tells you there's 4 hours to kill. It was barely 1 hour!!

My experience with National Windscreens …
On arrival at National Windscreens Thetford, I was greeted by Terry and Ben who were very polite and respectful. They fitted the new screen in a lot less time than expected, and the car was handed back to me in the same tidy condition as when I left it. All in all very good experience.

Job well done by polite, experienced staff but facilities very poor. No waiting area or nearby location to have refreshment’s as unit is in an industrial estate on the outskirts of Thetford. This means you require another party to collect you whilst the windscreen is being replaced and then drop you back when the job is done. This could be anything between 2 and 4 hours. Surely the company could have a small seating area with a tea/coffee machine so you could sit and wait until avoid causing inconvenience to the customer and the third party?

Easy to book appointment online easy drop off and good job done. Only things that lost the 5th star was that on arrival one of the workers complained about head office booking in too many people which I thought was a little unprofessional, and when I was told it would take up to 4 hours (and was told that it would definitely be done by 1pm) it was 30 mins overdue - not an issue but would have been if it had been much later

Fitter was great, friendly and professional. This is why 4 * 0 * for customer service operators
Fitter Helped me sort out payment before he could start the job.
However I found the initial call, by the call handler rude unhelpful and demoralising.
My second call regarding payment was un professional and clearly miss informed and more training needed in the business The payment line operator again unhelpful kept telling me my vehicle wasn’t coming up even when I told her a fitter was there, customer service needs to be greatly improved which would have caused me less stress.
