Issues trying to make payment
Attended Liverpool branch for windscreen replacement & calibration. Would not take cash payment, tried multiple times to pay via their payment line, however, would not accept visa payments, tried multiple times with different cards. Staff unhelpful and threatened me with a larger bill if payment was not made. When I contacted payment line & eventually managed to get through to a person, the female who answered stated that it was an issue with their system & happens regularly.

They damaged my car by chipping the…
They damaged my car by chipping the paint along the roof line. Screen hasn’t been fitted correctly as been fitted uneven such as flush in middle higher on drivers side and bellow roof line on passenger side. Was advised they would fit a pilkington screen or similar then fitted a cheap Chinese screen. I asked multiple times what brand of screen would be fitted and the response from the fitter Gary was “I don’t know” multiple times. I did put a complaint in which they refused to do anything as I personally feel like it’s fraud by false representation regarding brand of glass. It has now gone to the ombudsman and awaiting their investigation. I wouldn’t use this company.

Very disappointing and potentially dangerous experience
I had my windscreen replaced by National Windscreens, but unfortunately the rain sensor did not work properly afterwards, and neither did the driver-side windscreen wiper.
I only discovered the wiper problem during extremely heavy rain while driving. The passenger-side wiper was working, but the driver-side wiper was not, meaning I could barely see anything through the windscreen. This was an extremely dangerous situation and left me with no choice but to stop the car and wait for the rain to pass.
What should have been a 1.5-hour journey home ended up taking around 4 hours because I had to stop and wait for the weather to improve. It was extremely stressful and frustrating, particularly because this problem occurred immediately after the windscreen replacement.
I am very disappointed that the vehicle was returned to me without the wiper and rain sensor being properly checked. These are essential safety features, and I would expect them to be fully tested after a windscreen replacement.
I hope National Windscreens takes this seriously and reviews its quality-control process to ensure that something like this does not happen to another customer.

Rescheduled without the prior notice…
Rescheduled without the prior notice and I chose this specific branch as it had the closest appointment day. Crack was expanding daily due to the heatwave, no direct phone nr to call them and explain the situation. Called their line, lady said she will send them a message explaining why it is urgent, but nothing happened.
