I’m very disappointed with my experience with Ube Bae.
My order was marked as “delivered” according to the tracking, but I never received the item. I immediately contacted their support team, and they said they would look into it. After following up, they informed me they would send a replacement.
However, when I asked for a tracking number for the new shipment, I never received one. I sent another follow-up email more than a week ago and still haven’t gotten any response.
I order online frequently, and this is the first time I’ve ever had an item marked as delivered that I never actually received. The lack of communication and follow-through has been extremely frustrating. I hope they improve their customer service and response time in the future. And hoping to get a refund for this!

Hi, we are sorry we couldn't raise to your expectations. The transport company delivered the package and marked it as "delivered". We do not control that part. All we asked from you is to contact your local transporter company to ask them where they delivered it. This was to avoid same thing to happen again with the replacement order.
After discussions, this situation was already settled.
Best Ube. Best experience.
I never very rarely leave a review, however, this needed to be said and give credit. I don't understand the bad reviews, because I feel we talk about a complete different company.
I agree the delivery took a long time (2 weeks in my case). However this was clearly explained in the about us page. I had purchased Ube from 3 different companies, and it's never a real Ube, most of the time it's sweet purple potatoe, or colorant. The owner of Ube Bae deals directly with farmers in Philippines and they only process and package the product when they receive an order to keep it as fresh as possible, and that is what takes long in shipping process.
I don't mind waiting a little to make sure I get the real product and receive it fresh instead of ordering a package that is sitting on the shelf ready to be shipped from an Amazon warehouse.
Aria the owner answered my email within few minutes when I had some questions about the product. That is the advantage of dealing with a small business, and they got me as a customer for life!

Your order was a really a unique case were the shipping company misplaced your order (that could happen anywhere) and we offered other ways to fix that for you. Even our founder reached out to you in that matter. As of the taste, it's a very personal preference that we cannot address, to each their own taste, but for Ube customers, they like the natural sweetness and the hint of vanilla and nutty flavor. This is not something to be mixing with sugar. And we mentioned that in our email to you.
We are really sorry you didn't like Ube taste, we stand behind our product as compared to other Ube brands who add sugar and sweetness or additives to purple sweet potato. We only bring real Ube directly from family owned farms in Philippines and that is why we have so much success among customer who love the unique Ube taste.
