79 euro taken from my account, 4 months after my travel. I am not aware I started subscribe anything at all. Like most people here online. I blocked my card and sent them a complain, they are willing to pay back 20%. I am annoyed that businesses like this are allowed to keep on going.

Paid €0.79 for an online check-in service. The check-in service was never provided, so I had to complete the check-in myself on the airline's official website. A few days later, €79 was charged to my card for a subscription which I did not knowingly or explicitly intend to purchase. I have disputed the payment with my bank and submitted a formal refund request. I will also report the matter to ECC-Net and the Cyprus Consumer Protection Service.

Absolutely disgraceful scam. Avoid at all costs booking with Trip.com. How have they got the nerve to take £79 out of my account when I didn't ask for anything.

How they are allowed to operate is a mystery to me as they are little more than a legal scam. I was trying to check-in for a Vueling flight and was redirected to MyTripOnline. I thought I was only paying 79p to check-in (which should be free) but ended up with a £79 subscription bill instead. Odd that the 2 sums are so similar? Having cancelled the subscription and complained to MyTripOnline, they offered a 20%, then 50% refund. I refused, raise a dispute with my credit card company and received a full refund.

War dort von my Trip online überhaupt nicht gemeldet. 49€ umsonst. Zurück hat es nur 0,79€ gekostet. Wieder das gleiche. Habe dann zwei Tage später eine Belastung von 24,90 auf meinem Konto gefunden. Nach mehreren Mails mit denen stellte sich raus ich habe automatisch ein Abo für 1/4 jährlich 79€ abgeschlossen. Habe es sofort per Mail gekündigt und den Zugriff auf mein Konto untersagt. Würde anerkannt. Die 24,90€ soll ich aber bezahlen. Werde ich natürlich sofort zurück buchen. Anwalt wartet schon.

SCAM! Thankfully the bank notified me that this company wanted to take £79 from my account. This is a fraudulent company scamming people to make a tiny payment to download trip details and automatically subscribing them to a monthly £79 subscription. Avoid. Call your Bank, report. Disgraceful activity which is tantamount to theft!

AFter booking a trip with them, I got an email offering me automated check-ins for 79 cents. I accepted the offer and paid.
First of all, the service was not provided as they kept sending me emails asking info about my booking until I was fed up and did the check-ins manually myself.

Two days after, they charged me 24.90€ for a quarterly subscription of automated check-ins!!!! Unbelievable, it was definitely not clear this is how the service worked, a complete scam.

Never again I'll ever touch this company, I had saved 10€ in the booking to now waste over 25€ in a scam play.

I want to be reimbursed right away!

I paid €1 for what I thought was a simple online check-in/fast track service on 29 June. Two days later, on 1 July, I was charged an unexpected €79 with no clear warning beforehand. There was no obvious mention of a subscription or recurring payment on the checkout page — it looked like a one-time purchase.
When I contacted customer service, I found it very difficult to get a full refund; they only offered a partial amount. I've now had to dispute the charge with my bank and am in the process of cancelling my card to stop any further payments.
Based on my experience and reading other reviews here, this seems to be a recurring pattern for many customers — a small initial payment followed by a much larger, undisclosed charge days later. I'd strongly recommend reading all terms carefully before entering your card details, or avoiding this service altogether.

They will quietly sign you up to a subscription without your knowledge or warning. Will steal 79 euros from your account and refuse a refund. Totally disgusting and immoral behaviour. Avoid this website at all costs!

Me too! They somehow jumped onto my Aer Lingus account when I was trying to download a boarding pass. Charged me .79 for the privelege and then I find they have set up a direct debit, without me knowing, for £79 per month. My bank spotted it and has reported it to the fraud department.

My Trip Online is a freud. They required a fee of 0.79 euro for issuing a boarding pass. Two days later, without authorisation they charged an additional 79 euro. No idea how the bank allowed the second payment.
