Terrible customer service and still unresolved after months

I have been dealing with an unresolved gift card/store credit issue with Myrah Penaloza for over a year. This credit came from a return, and I have repeatedly tried to use it, but the codes I’ve been sent either do not work or I’m simply told they “should” work when they clearly don’t.

The communication has been extremely slow, with long delays between email responses. No one calls. No one seems to take ownership. I have had to keep following up over and over again just to get basic help.

To make it worse, I was charged for shipping after being told I would not be, and I still have not received an order I placed back in May. My order still has not gone through properly because the gift code issue remains unresolved.

This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve had. I have been more than patient, but after months of delays, broken codes, and no real solution, I would strongly caution others before ordering from this company.

I’ve known about Myrah’s store for awhile and genuinely love her online presence and shopping on her website but after visiting her store in Bali, I was blown away. Her store is a full representation of who she is at heart and the tea room is absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend not only shopping since she’s using natural fibers but also visit her store in Bali if you get the chance!

The kimono-style Jasmine jacket I received is exquisite unique design, impeccable quality, and the organic cotton is like butter. I purchased the Virgo Kaftan and I'm obsessed! The drape is absolutely luxurious, and the hand-stitched details are gorgeous. Knowing that this supported a family's livelihood instead of contributing to exploitative labor practices makes wearing it feel even better. The design is unique—I get compliments every single time I wear it. This is what fashion should be: beautiful, intentional, and kind. I've worn this piece over 30 times now and I can't wait to wear it again, truly a sustainable fashion company that needs more recognition, im happy to share this review.

I've known about this brand for a while now and first visited the physical store when I came to Bali in 2024. I learned about the thoughtfulness and intention behind the garments and physical space from the founder herself. I touched every piece by hand and quality was the same as when I had ordered their clothing online. Well made, well designed, and you could just tell the well intention behind the brand as a whole.
