Very shocked to see negatives about this company. We've been having deliveries for a few months now and everything is so fresh, from the veg to the pork pies. Their quality makes us wonder how far wrong the supermarkets have sunk to. The driver is really pleasant and helpful (Newcastle on Tyne)

Always prepared to give people a second chance, I have made 3 orders, but there will definitely not be a 4th.
Order 1 had a substitute item I didn’t want. No explanation beforehand and only knew when opened box. Complaint made and refund of missing item received.
Order 2 had a bottle of rum missing. Again no prior knowledge and took ages to get through to someone to be informed rum wasn’t in stock. Complaint made and rum price refunded.
Order 3 was due on a Tuesday but received email stating DPD issues and would be received on Wednesday..nothing arrived. Eventually after MyDelifresh admitting it was internal admin error, delivery was arranged for Friday. On Thursday I was informed part of my order wasn’t available! I would have to wait til following week if wanted all items. I decided to have part delivery for Friday as fed up waiting. Delivery arrived but tomatoes were squashed with a few having to go in the bin.
If I could give zero stars I would - avoid!

I have ordered food 4 times from MyDelifresh and I am impressed with both the quality of the food and the level of service. The quality of the products I have been buying is far superior to what you could find in supermarkets or specialised food stores. For instance the salads I have ordered were better than my nearby farm shop in Kent. The products under the brand "taste of the lakes" are extremely good. Lishmans-charcuterie is among the best quality charcuterie I had from a UK producer.
I recently made a large order and part of the order was missing (an issue with the courier company, according to mydelifresh). An email and then a chat on their Web site resolved the situation and I received a new parcel with the missing items two days later. This is great customer service. The only room for improvement is maybe the way fragile items are packed as they can be damaged if placed in the box next to heavy items (ordering avocado, for instance, was an issue). I will continue to order from them and recommend this shop.

Got my first order today and i am shocked they got negative reviews..my produce were fresh and really good sized and nicely packed! Definately will be ordering from here again.Also driver was polite and adhered to social distancing rules. I honestly can't fault this store! Love it.

Excellent fresh produce. As local free delivery over £30 which is great, plus loose veg or brown paper bag, very eco friendly. Also produce is very tasty.

Appreciate everyone's view is based on their own experience and there is some truth to the packaging aspect. However since I have started to use this company the packaging has improved and after 3 orders, the 3rd order came with no damaged goods, though previously it was an item or two at best.

The quality of the food however is excellent, the fruit and veg tastes and feels far better than the supermarket food I have been used too. Comparable quality for me are the local farm shops in my area, however the pricing with Mydelifresh is excellent as well as the variety of fruit and veg.

Given the quality of the food, including some of their other choices, I will happily continue to use them and hope to see the packaging aspect improve, though they have have been very fair with any issues that have arisen.

Ordered lots of fresh veg and most was good although the white cabbage was pretty ropey and rotting. Packaging let things down overall, everything was just chucked in the box with no apparent thought as the tomatoes and red peppers were completely squashed and had to be thrown away. i probably won't use Mydelifresh again.

Don't even bother.

Had what I thought was a refreshingly quick response on chat, ordered what I needed boom. Then while waiting for my order the next day am told because I didn't spend the required amount it had been cancelled (even tho the system had the item in stock, I paid and had a confirmation) no options to pay delivery, nothing.

Gutted, will never use again.

Had to order as self isolating and couldn’t get a local supermarket delivery anywhere. Was very pleased with everything I received. Steak, bacon all very tasty. The bacon wasn’t salty or watery. Vegetables all fresh, herbs amazing, black grapes so sweet and the semi skimmed milk I was drinking directly out of a cup - never do this with supermarket milk.
Only downside was the delivery company broke some eggs. However it was sorted out very quickly and my money refunded.Great customer service and food.

Excellent produce, well packaged, properly chilled when it arrived here in Scotland. Customer service second to none, they bend over backwards to help you. Cannot recommend this company highly enough - a genuinely great business.

First delivery, test order, over £200. Poorly chilled, poorly packed, suspect packed and sealed days before courier collection, because much of the veg had started rotting due to condensation in the plastic bags. Most of the meat went in the bin (poorly chilled, beginning to discolour). Some of the produce was very good, however, what little could be saved. Emailed Delifresh, explained that I was sympathetic because of Christmas and COVID - in other words super-reasonable. They didn't even reply. Who would like to see photos, as I'm sure I'll be accused of exaggerating?..
