Excellent service, product & price.

Great product at best available price. Sadly Hermes "lost" the item (my unfortunate choice to choose cheapest delivery option). It was just before Xmas and MyChefKnives rushed out another set (via DPD fortunately). Very impressed with level of communication.

Good Service, But Let Down by Poor Quality Control

Good range of equipment. The saw and blades I ordered were delivered quickly and were well packaged. Unfortunately, one of the items, a 'Pradel' meat saw had been badly finished by the manufacturer (sharp burrs left on the fabricated frame, capable of cutting the user). I did not expect to find dangerous defects such as these on an item from a well-known manufacturer. Fortunately, I was able to put right these defects myself, and without injury. But I was surprised and disappointed. Once in use, however, the saw has proven to be good at what it is designed for. I didn't alert the company to this problem as in the current climate, I didn't want the bother of having to return goods, etc.

Vastaus yritykseltä MyChefKnives.co.uk

Hello Mike,

Thanks for your review.

We're truly sorry to know about the defects of the Pradel butcher saw that you ordered on our website. We have transferred your feedback to the manufacturer so that they can do whatever is necessary to avoid the same types of mistakes in the future.

We have also alerted the team at our warehouse to check the saws that we have in stock to make sure that they are in perfect condition. Due to the high volume of products in our warehouse, it is not always possible to check each individual product that we receive from our suppliers, but we reassure you that we take feedback like yours very seriously as it allows us to improve our service.

Thank you for your time, and if you face any other issue or if you have any further doubt or concern, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service by sending an email to hello@mychefknives.co.uk

Stay safe.

Kind regards,

Team of MyChefKnives.co.uk

Just what I wanted

I have had a Japanese ceramic knife for years given to me by my mother and stepfather. My husband used it to open a package wrapped in nylon packing tape and snap! So I had to get another. MyChefKnives was less expensive then anyone else, my new knife arrived quickly and I am using it with great enjoyment. It is exactly like the one that broke but came with a lovely knife sheath which makes it safer in the drawer.
