I feel like a car can't be fully serviced and checked over, tyres and brakes and engine and belts and oils and wipers and handbrake adjusted and done thoroughly and with care, in 2 and a half hours. The can wasn't due for a service for another 5000 k's but due to the pandemic, it had been 18 months so I wanted it looked at, I just feel they did the absolute bare minimum for $380 and didn't even have time to wipe the grease off the door handle. Very, production line, experience.
My Mechanic, who I will return to, puts plastic over the seats, puts paper mats on the floor, wipes the engine bay and parts he touches down so marks aren't left, calls you with an update, explains the report when you pick up the car (instead of when you ask how it was, the response is "it's all here" pointing to the receipt)

No sticker to notify next service. Oil splatter on engine cover and wiper arm panel.no quote during or after service on additional repairs.
Advised can only Renew complete wipers. I think inserts could have been done. Did mention engine noise - no report submitted.

I booked for 4 tyer replacement and wheel balance. On the day they only had three Tyers available. Also could not pay by eftpos nor had a itemised receipt.

Extremely helpful quick response, polite friendly

100% would avoid went to get a puncture repaired immediately went to you need all 4 tyres replacing. 20k on the tyres no uneven wear. Came up with some gibberish about they just wear out over time.

Great customer service and mechanics did a great job with servicing the car.

Our car was booked in for new tyres on a Monday. The booking was for that Friday. Said it should take 1 - 1 1/2hrs.
The tyres were to be ordered immediately.
Car was dropped off Friday morning at 10:30 per the booking. When MyCar asked if 4pm pick up was ok we said no as we needed to pick up our daughter. Agreed on 2pm.
Arrived at 2pm and saw the car was still on the hoist. Waited 30mins then asked how much longer. Was only then informed that the tyres had yet to arrive. We couldn’t wait any longer so drove the car away with old tyres still on.
We were very disappointed that MyCar had not mentioned anything about the tyres not on the premises. Also why was a curtesy call not made during the day with an update? If these steps had been taken we could have come up with a contingency plan. Instead we left feeling very frustrated and annoyed. Successful business is reliant on good communication both between the staff and with the customers.

Had a problem with a tyre and it was fix straight away

Booked the car in for a service, guy tried to charge me $635 for a service , I then rang a different branch in frankston and got quoted $411 . Went back in and called the guy out on it and guess what it came back down to $411 . Didn't leave the car went to a different mechanic. Carrum Downs store is dodgy as they come would never trust to leave my car here.....

Went for a service and to discuss the major work the car needed. They did the service, took the time to go through what else needed doing and worked out a time to get the rest of the work done. The guys were friendly, patient and professional. No pushy sales. Not at all condescending or patronising which can sometimes happen in these environments when you’re a woman discussing these things. Not with these guys though. They were awesome. 10/10

If you want to feel that you can trust your mechanic then Carrum Downs auto is the place to go. All the boys were so helpful Rob definitely looked after me and let me know exactly what was wrong with my car breaks. With the price he broke it all down for me and let me know what every part was going to cost, how long it was going to take to fix and now it works perfectly.
Highly recommended great place to get your car looked at the boys there will look after you and provide a great service.

Friendly staff and great service. Got call of possible replacement and choice given.
