I used musosoup to promote my new single a few months ago, and posting this as I’m so happy with the whole process.

After choosing a few of the offers, I have so much visibility on google now. It’s definitely made it easier to secure gigs as people can read about me and see what I’m about. And I just got my first ‘unsolicited’ gig offer. Thanks Musosoup!

Do not use Musosoup. This is about the fourth time I’ve had to edit this review.

It seems they are trying hard to force me into saying something nice or even lying—and I refuse to. They claimed they listened to my song “Street Pizza” and rejected it because it was of “poor quality.” Yet, “Street Pizza” was accepted on multiple reputable playlists elsewhere without me paying a dime. Musosoup disrespects the facts and the very essence of the music business. They admitted to only listening to a few seconds of the track and jumping around. I mean, how can you understand the meaning, talent, or artistic merit if you don’t even listen to the full song? What a joke. And yet, they have the audacity to take money for a service that hasn’t made anyone famous, hasn’t landed anyone a record deal, and doesn’t have a single artist on its roster who has broken through in the music industry. They basically called my song garbage without even giving it a proper listen.

So, I say your company is of poor quality. You apparently have plenty of time to repeatedly attack my review—which I had nearly forgotten about—despite the fact that “Street Pizza” has been accepted elsewhere.

You supposedly listen to soooooo much music that you can’t even hear a full track. In my opinion, you are biased against African American music. I honestly think your company offers very little value. You only have a little over five thousand Instagram followers, and you follow over two thousand of them, so in reality, you’ve got about three thousand. I have about the same number of followers, and over the years, I’ve rarely heard anyone say my music was of poor quality. That was a joke… right? Please.

So, to anyone thinking about using Musosoup: don’t. It’s a dead-end. The road leads nowhere, and you will definitely waste your money.

Record companies and bloggers don’t charge a dime. The only reason I submitted my music was because someone I know had sent theirs to Musosoup and got nowhere. I just wanted to see what they’d say to me.

Have used it for two releases and worked with some great curators who really got my music. Writing can be a bit cliched but the ones I chose were excellent writers who I felt genuinely liked my songs. Good platform, easy to use and a great range of curators.

Zero quality control, too much admin googling curators whom have only a small following so that you know which ones to avoid.

Curators publish inaccurate info without approval as the platform is so badly designed.

They also had problems saving a embedded link because they hadn't whitelisted a URL for one of the most established DJ sites on the Web.

Being over halfway through my campaign and spend over £300 in paid promo my spotify monthly listeners have went up my 3 people in that time. Nobody in thier right mind could authentically say this represents good value for money.

As you can see from thier reply below they are also dismissive of genuine concerns relating to thier badly designed platform

Of all of these platforms Musosoup is the easiest and most effective.

The curators and the feedback from your music. I was a bit skeptical at first but once I was in, I had all the curators wanting to help push my song. It was a unique experience, just make sure you have a budget set for your music marketing. You will see a push in streams and press.

I like this model for early stage artists, independents and curators to discover great artists out there doing amazing music that’s not on any billboard but authentic at best

Great options for promotion, different to other services!

Fairly priced and well organized promotion platform for indie artist with limited budget who want to increase presence on music blogs. However I’m not always sure about the reach of the blogs who offer you a review, and most of them are not genre specific.

The whole process is really simple and the communication is excellent.

I have found some fantastic offers and even if my budget doesn't allow me to accept all of them I'm still receiving many free playlist adds...

Musosoup is the best paid promotion tool for musicians in my opinion. It's easy to navigate, it's easy to communicate with the curators and its easy to leave feedback for the curators and the campaign process.

A lot of writers are very good.
Some are terrible that's what only 4 starts

It's very affordable, professional and very organized. The curators, bloggers and critics that use Musosoup to gain access to artists also seem very professional and passionate about the music they review. I highly recommend Musosoup and will definitely use their services for future campaigns.

This strategic addition would enhance Musosoup's value, ensuring artists gain not just coverage but real, measurable reach and more clear when used filters and research.

If you're serious about promoting your music and reaching the right audience, Musosoup is the platform to use. It's well worth the investment, and I’ll definitely be using it again for future releases! 🎶
