Musicguard insurance is excellent value for money and the staff are friendly and helpful when renewing.
However, do they really need to phone 3 times a day - every day!! - when your policy is due for renewal??

This is a good company to get insurance cover, luckly I have never claimed but they are always very helpfull with the renewal.

Easy to get in contact with and set up a policy, good prices too. Also flexible than other companies too - able to to insure a custom built pc and a USB software dongle that I was unable to do with others.

Grant was excellent - going through my renewal quickly and efficiently.

I only needed to phone to renew as the link I was sent didn't take me to the correct page and neither did a Google search.

Renewed my policy for the 3rd year with MusicGuard. Good value for money and gives you peace of mind having your equipment insured. Every time I have spoken to them they are always very helpful and gives you confidence in they know what they do and care about the customer.

No allowance seems to be made for the type or frequency of use and therefore I feel it is quite expensive. I go out usually once a week to a rehearsal band, hardly any risk involved. Also as I have not made a claim at any time, there does not seem any type of no claims bonus. There was also an error on the date for the public liability. Your staff are always polite and friendly.

yes you can find cheaper but not with as many advantages.

Generally okay, but difficult to be furnished with an actual written quotation, however, i did proceed with the Musicguard insurance for another year.

good with chasing you to renew but insurance goes up every year at least 10%.

Issue with the renewal costs but was sorted straight away. Turns out there was a glitch that would have gone undetected. Held their hands up, updated the policy and results in a very happy customer - ME !! Thanks Musicguard

When I received my renewal notice I was extremely disappointed to note an increase of some 30% in the annual premium. When I called Musicguard about this the call handler I spoke to was unable to give me a satisfactory explanation for this price increase. I asked to speak to his manager who told me that I should never have been sold the policy for such a low price originally, and inferred that I was lucky to be getting it at such a bargain rate. I renewed today to ensure that the cover for my grandson’s instrument continues. I am still extremely disappointed about the hike in the price.

No need to claim so far, so review is only based on ease of policy set up. Good options offered on instrument insurance, e.g. only insuring 25% / 50% taken out of house in one go, thereby lowering premium. Straightforward to deal with. Like all insurers, premium is hiked up each year until you complain - would be nice to be rewarded for loyalty - 5 stars next year if this happens!

My equipment was stolen from my car. I sent over the details, quotations and reports and my claim was received and processed withing a few days. Great service. Highly recommend!
