Visit to motor trust haslingden had a quick loot round good choice of stock a member of staff asked how we were getting on and what we were looking for he was called Yaz they didn’t have the stock I needed but search for it and found it at the depot in Morcombe, very chilled out and relaxed

I wish i read these reviews first, put a deposit (£500) on a mercedes slk, after delays and excuses galore the car goes for an Mot as agreed and it fails due to engine mgmt issue and 5 other items. It then does not move and suddenly passes with all six items resolved, even though the issues still existed. I then get a call saying the engine mgmt light has come back on and did i want to walk away. I took them up on this and like so many others on here am still waiting for my deposit to be returned. I was promised several times i.e end of week, end of day but still nothing. This has now been escalated to the credit card company to follow up. I am just glad i walked away when i did and would not recommend this company and certainly not putting down a deposit unless you are 100% on the car and history……

I paid two (refundable) deposits (£500) just over 4 weeks ago.
A week later, we decided against new cars. So I asked for a refund...23 days later and I'm still waiting!
Can someone look into this issue and resolve it for me???

Selected the car I wanted but there was a bit of the bumper missing so they advised it would sorted when we picked it up. Was rang at 4:50 on the Thursday saying it was ready. When we drove on it was still in the vallet area getting cleaned. The salesman finally came to us at 5:40 but it still wasn’t ready. Bumper still hadn’t fixed the bumper! We then took it out and the windscreen was that badly cleaned we could hardly see out of it. Took the car home because it was so late then realised there was no back wiper and no screen wash in it (but the MOT had just been done)
DPF went on the car and it’s that full it cannot be cleared so needs replacing. I paid £150 for the reboot over two weeks ago and still haven’t been reimbursed

If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from this company, my experience has been that the level of follow-up communication after the sale has been extremely poor. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Motor Trust to anyone who may need ongoing support, communication or assistance with issues after purchasing their vehicle.

I purchased a Tesla Model 3 from Motor Trust Bury in August 2025. Issues with the vehicle, including parking sensor faults and a noise when changing between drive and reverse, were raised shortly after purchase and formally documented in an email on 18 September 2025. We were advised that the issues would be escalated, but they remained unresolved.

We also purchased a 36-month extended warranty for £1,299. When we later attempted to use the warranty, Autoguard confirmed that there was no active policy registered for the vehicle. After repeated chasing, the warranty was eventually activated in May 2026.

Since then, resolving the vehicle faults has involved repeated emails, chasing for responses, delays and confusion over how the repair would be paid for. Tesla provided a repair estimate, but arranging payment has continued to go back and forth between Tesla, the warranty company and Motor Trust.

What has been most disappointing is not simply that the vehicle developed faults, but the lack of follow-up and the amount of time and effort required from us to try to get them addressed. These issues were raised shortly after purchase, yet many months later we are still trying to get the repair properly arranged.

I hope Motor Trust now takes this matter seriously and finally brings it to a proper conclusion.
