Great customer service
I booked a campervan intended for travel in April from Adelaide to Sydney but, unfortunately, we had to cancel as my mum became terminally ill and we couldn't travel.
I found it very helpful that they had a Singapore telephone contact and the customer service personnel who received my calls for both the booking and cancellation dealt with all my questions in a knowledgeable and professional way. In particular, the experience for the cancellation was smooth and prompt. I really appreciated how Rem made every effort to ensure communication was clear and quick from beginning to end. It was great that, although there was a cancellation fee which I already knew about, there was effort on the part of Motorhome Republic and Mighty Campers to reduce it for us. That was really much appreciated by my family at this difficult time.

I booked a RV through Motorhome Republic.
I booked a RV through Motorhome Republic and the booking service was very easy.
On our trip I had some problems with the RV & due to our circumstance I did contact the retail company at the time.
I let them know when I drop it off, but they just noted it down.
Motorhome republic then contacted to see how my booking went.
From that they followed up all of our concerns & were able to come up with a solution which they weren't responsible for.
I didn't expect anything to come from this but was very impressed by the way they have handled the whole process.
Would highly recommend there services.

Great Motorhome Experience
Thank you,Iulia, for sorting some very complex arrangements with my motorhome rental in New Zealand after I found that the ferry between the North Island and the South Island was completely booked out. Iulia was completely invested in helping me, even using her day off to make sure all the paperwork and arrangements were sorted before my rental commenced to ensure that I could get a refund (which I received). Iulia could not have been more helpful and professional and ensured that my husband and I had a brilliant motorhome experience in New Zealand.

Unterauftragnehmer - keine Vertragseinhaltung
Wir haben einen 2-Berth Hitop Camper über Motorhome Republic in Sydney gemietet.
Eine Woche vor Mietbeginn erhielten wir von einer anderen Firma Emails, dass wir sofort die Kaution zahlen sollten, und dass wir einen 4-Berth gemietet hätten. 3 Tage vor Mietbeginn erhielten wir dann von Motorhome Republic Instruktionen zur Übernahme, die nicht identisch mit der andren Firma waren.
Vor Ort in Sydney hiess es dann, dass wir einen 2-Berth Hitop erhalten würden, aber als wir das Fahrzeug gezeigt erhielten, war es dann doch ein 4-Berth.
Fazit: Vorsicht vor dieser Firma, sie operiert mit Unterauftragnehmern, welche dann die Verträge nicht einhalten!

Based on your comments, it appears you may have received separate emails directly from our rental provider to complete online check-in prior to your arrival. We understand the confusion caused by the conflicting information regarding vehicle size; however, please note that in cases where our rental provider is unable to provide the originally booked vehicle, they may offer a similar or higher category instead, depending on their terms and conditions.
In order for us to investigate your concern further, please provide your booking reference number starting with “IM,” and we will review this with our rental provider and contact you directly to clarify and resolve the matter.

A VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE
We booked and paid in full for a campervan 6 months in advance of our trip to NZ. We had a week in the North Island before picking up the van in Christchurch. 2 days before our pick up date the van was cancelled. It was at this point we discovered that Motorhome Republic had booked the van with a company called Kiwi Campers. Both indicated to us that we had initiated the cancellation.After we made it clear that we had not initiated a cancellation, Kiwi Campers (KC) then said there was a fault with the van and it was unsafe to drive!! To add stress to the whole situation KCwere not at all interested in helping to locate another van. Motorhome Republic did refund our money immediately and attempted to locate another van but were unsuccessful. When checking through reviews of both companies it was clear that Kiwi Campers are very unreliable and as such I question why Motorhome Republic continue to use this company. Motorhome Republic Reviews are varied. Overall we will not be using either company again and will not be recommending them to any of our family and friends wanting to camp and drive around NZ.

Thank you for your review. We are very sorry for the disappointment caused by the cancellation of your booking and understand how stressful this must have been so close to your trip.
Unfortunately, we were informed by our rental partner, Kiwi Campers, that they were unable to provide the booked vehicle due to unforeseen operational issues and the reservation had to be cancelled.
We understand there was confusion caused by the automated cancellation email stating the booking was cancelled “at your request.” This wording is part of the standard cancellation email, and the cancellation was not requested by you. We apologise for any misunderstanding this may have caused.
Once notified, we contacted alternative suppliers to try to locate a suitable replacement vehicle and discussed possible options with you, including alternative dates and pickup locations. Unfortunately, due to low availability at that time, we were unable to secure a vehicle with the required features for the full duration of your trip.
We understand you were able to arrange an alternative rental independently, and a full refund was processed promptly.
We sincerely apologise again for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your feedback.
