An epic journey with Motorbike Expeditions in Nepal. The trip had everything, sun, snow, rain in the mix (but mostly sun) and different road surface conditions (nice) with Himalayan 450cc motorbikes (perfect). The Nepalese people were friendly and countryside stunning. A fantastic Motorbike Support team and likewise fellow Biker Buddies with great humour all made the trip and experience one to remember and look back on fondly.
Highly recommend to anyone who cherishes something different on a motorbike.

I did the Nepal 12 day tour March 26.
Totally exceeded my wildest expectations.
I arrived in Kathmandu 2 days before the tour and met a group of guys who had just finished the same tour.
They told me we were in for something special but little did we know just how special it would be.
Not one single complaint about the trip from the day I made my first inquiry to the sad day I left to come home.
Motorbike Expeditions exude professionalism and have selected amazing staff to accompany you on your journey. They could not bend over far enough to make us happy. Nothing was to hard for them. The bikes were maintained immaculately. The information provided was terrific and they kept us safe at all times.
The accomodation and food provided was amazing. The guys ( and one lady)on the
tour all got in amazingly well. We have made friends from all sorts of the globe and already thinking about our next trips together.
Lastly NEPAL. What can I say …….. freaking insane.!!! I have ridden in many places around the world and seen some amazing places. Most amazing places and reached by travelling 100’s of kms of boring roads
Nepal has no boring bits. Zero!!! Every corner ( and there were 1000’s of them )opens up a new vista. Every 100 metres climbed or descended changes your surrounding dramatically. From snow covered Himalayas to the raging rivers in the valleys below and every stunning landscape or village in between Nepal rocked my world. It’s every epic bike ride you have ever done rolled up into a 2 week highlight package. MOTORBIKE EXPEDITIONS is the only way to go. JUST DO IT

Our 12-day Nepal expedition with Motorbike Expeditions was truly a world-class experience. Riding through the Mustang Valley from Kathmandu was a dream come true, made even more special by sharing the journey with my son, Herman, and his friends, Celester, Keegan, and Andy. The camaraderie on the road was incredible; it was wonderful catching up with old friends Mark and Bruce while forming new bonds with Doug, Neil, Alan, and Dean.

The success of this trip was entirely due to the outstanding crew. Our Road Captain, Amit, navigated us through challenging terrain with expert precision, while Ujjwal, our Sweeper, ensured no rider was ever left behind. Nihal, the cameraman, captured breathtaking shots of the Himalayas that we will treasure forever. Ramesh, our mechanic, was a wizard with the Royal Enfields, keeping them in peak condition, and Lucky, our recovery driver, gave us complete peace of mind throughout the rugged trails.

From the technical off-road sections near Muktinath to the serene lakeside views in Pokhara, every detail was perfectly organised. Motorbike Expeditions doesn’t just offer a tour; they deliver a truly life-changing adventure. If you are looking for a seamless, adrenaline-pumping journey with a highly professional team, look no further!

Second time with ME, fabulous tour of Nepal, staff were great/friendly/polite/professional. We were in a mixed group, ride conditions were therefore designed to suit all types, but a great mix of tarmac, bad roads and mud tracks, suspension bridges definitely a highlight.

The organisation from booking to completing the expedition was top class. The team worked so hard to make the journey amazing on every level. It was first journey of this type and felt relaxed throughout. There were challenging moments but all supported by the team. A once in a life time experience I plan to repeat many times! 😝😝😝

This is my 2nd tour with motorbike exhibitions. This time round, we did Nepal with Deepak as our guide. It was everything I expected and more. We laughed from start to finish. The hotels we stayed at were all very clean and friendly, with great food. Deepak guided us through everything and joined in with our group like an old friend

A ride through the lower Mustang valley was at times challenging and took me out of my comfort zone, making this tour an adventure. Every day was different and we saw some fantastic scenery and wildlife. The team that looked after us were fantastic especially Deepak who took great care to make sure we were enjoying our experience. The bikes were great and never let us down, overall a great trip with motorbike expeditions, this is the second one I have done with them and will probably do so again.

These guys are outstanding. I've done over 1m miles on motorcycles over the years between work and pleasure, touring Europe the UK and Ireland, but, I'm always looking for the next challenge and these guys coughed up big time. Providing excellent value for money, attention to detail, pre trip support, quality bikes and a wealth of knowledge and experience of the surrounding landscapes and cultures. I'll be forever grateful to the team for Providing me with such fantastic memories. Be warned though, this is not an easy trip. Hone your riding skills, do some research and listen to the advice given. Your safety is paramount to the team but safety should start at home.

Have you ever dreamed of an epic motorbike tour? Beyond the Timmelsjoch, the Stelvio Pass or the Transfagarasan? This 11-day Himalayan adventure in Ladakh with Motorbike Expeditions will take you to the world’s highest motorable passes – and much more. It will take your breath – both metaphorical as well as physical.
The route is in part tarmac, and in part (sometimes bad) gravel. Thus, you should be able to ride a bike for several hours and should have been traveling on gravel roads before, but you don’t have to be an off-road expert. If you have this experience – just do it. If not, ask back with the organizers – there are also some groups with people with less experience. The fantastic team of this company will help you through all your challenges and support you whenever you need it in a very helpful, personal and friendly way. Thus – don’t think twice – do it! You’d regret letting this chance of a unique adventure pass.
I don’t have to add many additional pictures of these epic landscapes and passes – there are sufficient on the net – see also the respective video footage of Motorbike Expeditions. We had it all – wonderful weather with sunshine and endless views as well as snowstorm – thus, be prepared for all weather conditions and all types of adventurous experiences.
A few more words about the ride and the organization. Motorbike Expeditions arranges the transfer from Delhi to Bhuntar where you are welcomed by the organizers and receive your bike. Unlike other organizers, you may choose whether you stay with the 411 or you prefer the more advanced 450 (but I suggest the 411 because this bike is extremely robust although it only has about 27 PS, but this is sufficient – believe it or not….). On the first day you make an introductory ride and then you start off in your adventure. This is a journey for motorbikers that love to travel – you will not visit hundreds of monasteries, but you will enjoy hundreds of hairpin bends and thousands of breathtaking (in a double sense) viewpoints. The passes are organized in ascending altitude to avoid altitude problems. After visiting all of them and overcoming all other obstacles you will return to Leh, from where your flight will bring you back to Delhi.
The tour is exceptionally well organized (but flooding etc. might change the tour plan). You are accompanied by experienced local guides that are familiar with the language (and English), the way to organize all the necessary permits (in advance), how to quickly pass all these checkpoints, and most importantly they care about you in a very personal, friendly and supportive way. You get advice on how to avoid altitude problems, you get support in driving your bike (and in case of emergency you could change into the backup vehicle and one of the guides or technicians will ride your bike), and the members of Motorbike Expeditions are around in the evening if anything is needed. Every evening the bikes are checked and prepared for the next day. Even your stay in Delhi, or tours to the Taj Mahal, can be arranged by the Motorbike Expeditions office.
Having said so much, I simply would like to thank all the guys (organizers, tour guides, technicians, photographer and camera man for videos from Motorbike Expeditions for their support and this unforgettable adventure and experience. And to the reader I just suggest – just do it!

My Wife and I joined the Motorbike Expeditions 11 day tour of Ladakh.
What a great experience it was, Amit and the crew were simply fantastic, the trip was well planned and coordinated.
Each day was well planned with ample rest breaks built in, the countryside was just mesmerising.
We chose the newer 450cc which never missed a beat as they were checked over every night once we reached that days final destination.
The company has left a great impression on us and we think we shall book another trip with Motorbike Expeditions.
If you are thinking about a ride in India do yourself a favour and go with these guys.

Deepak and his team guided and supported us through varied and stunning landscapes, water crossings and of course, the highest passable road in the world.

While I had watched several YouTube videos, nothing prepared me for the epic scale of Ladakh region.

Each day the rides provided different challenges, optional "shortcuts", water crossings and of course huge mountain passes.

The riding was more challenging than expected and some 9hr days but I enjoyed every minute.

Great experience and hell of a trip if you enjoy biking with views. From start to finish, the guides looked after us everyday with helping us with anything we needed.
The bikes we're kept up to amazing standard and tended to every night before the next mornings ride to ensure there were no problems during the day.
Hotels and food were clean and up to good standard for the remote locations you stay in.
Great mixture of offroading with some water crossings and amazing tarmac roads with breathtaking views.
Highly recommend to any biker, experienced or novice.
