I have upgraded my review from 1 star to 2 stars. My experience with them wasn't great, but I have to take the current global situation into consideration. I believe that the website was misleading when I placed my order regarding delivery times. I was not updated on the status of my order at any time, having to chase after 5 working days, only to be told that it hadn't been despatched and that they had no idea when it would be. They should be better at informing customers of delays. It should not take long for a company as large as auto-doc (ahem), to update their website and better inform their customers with blanket email responses. I have upped the review solely on the swiftness of the refund. Also, this company seem to have parts that I had real trouble finding anywhere else in the UK. They have the parts, but can they deliver? The answer in my case, sadly, was no. £250 in extra parts and that isn't their fault, but had I been made aware, I wouldn't have been without a car for 2 weeks.

Motor Doctor staff are professional and ready to assist their customers (either by telephone or email) choose the correct parts for their vehicle. The ordered parts are promptly supplied from their warehouse and sent out, using courier service.

I ordered a windscreen wiper motor for my car after putting the details of my car into their website. I even paid extra for a 'safe buy' insurance. Motor Doctor sent me the wrong item, which did not work when plugged in. So I sent it back at my expense but they refused to refund me, claiming I had ordered the wrong motor and should have sent it back without 'installing' it. Awful company with third rate website and terrible customer services.

I located the part I required from Motor Doc without any problem. The part showed that the price shown was inclusive of 20% VAT, delivery. However on placing the item in the basket and proceeding to checkout, I discovered that an additional £8.80 had been added for delivery. On contacting the company they refused to accept that the description gave the impression that delivery was included in the total cost, and delivery was only free on orders over £110.00.

Quick, cheap and efficient

Yet another sneeky guise for autodoc. They must have at least 5 websites for the same company. This one lead me to believe it was coming from the UK and as I was in a hurry I went for it. Not till 4 days later when they sent out the dispatch note I realised I got had. If you read deep into the website terms you will realise where it comes from. Just a dishonest way of presenting the website to catch people out.

5days to pick the item pack it and post it. £8 postage is not what I had in mind for 2 rubber seals but then I found out that this guys are selling from Berlin but the website is registered as UK domain.we order car parts and have to wait over week for it to arrive.( had to improvise as the parts came after my car was repaired and mot tested).
Otherwise the customer service will kick in and try the best to resolve the situation.
Still would recommend to look properly for the processing times so you don’t get disappointed when you have deadline to repair your car as I had.

Nooit of te nooit bestel ik hier nog iets bij!
Na 1 maand te wachten op mijn onderdeel, sturen ze het foute onderdeel op, nochtans hadden ze mij een mail gestuurd dat ze voor mij het meest compatibele onderdeel hadden gevonden waar ik een meerprijs voor moest betalen. (kan gebeuren)
Na 15 a 20 telefoons en 20 mails zonder succes en zonder op mijn emails te antwoorden, heb ik gevraagd of ik een manager kon spreken.
De manager was van begin af aan gefrustreerd en liet mij nooit uitspreken, na mijn verhaal te doen haakte hij gewoon af.

Zowel in de mails als met de klantendienst en met de manager verliepen deze gesprekken in het gebrekkig Nederlands of Engels.

Als ik eerlijk kan zijn heb ik nog nooit zo'n slecht contact gehad met een 'bedrijf' als dit. De manier van communicatie en adverteren, beneden alle peil. Eén ding weet ik zeker ik bestel hier nooit meer bij!

Opgelet hoort mee onder de gigant AutoDoc

Beware, this company does not like to give refunds for faulty/poor quality goods, or refund additional costs incured due to faulty or poor quality parts! The warranty dept enjoys setting tasks such as filling out a number of forms etc, then ignoring the claim. Then, after waiting for a very long time, they will make excuses not to refund, such as "the manufacturer has refused the claim". They enjoy lying and being very arrogant! It has taken over a year to obtain a refund for the poor quality part and i am still trying to obtain a refund for the additional costs that i incured. On their website it clearly states a no hassle return policy, and also a promise to pay any additional costs incured due to faulty goods! This company also has many sister companys including Autodoc so please beware.

A quick and efficient transaction, will use more often. Thank you all

Both items I have bought from you came very quickly and have proved OK.

Bad slow start with poor communication but did deliver the correct items I ordered but 4 days latter than another company from Germany that I ordered parts from on the exact same day Autoteile !

Motor Doctor were great and dispatched the item quickly and at a great price. The only negative was that the delivery company gave the item to a neighbour but did not post us a card, so we didn't know it had arrived until the neighbour brought it round the following day.
Delivery company at fault not Motor Doctor who did everything I wanted.
