I had an exceptional experience working with ModernClassic on the production of several pieces for my home, including a sofa, ottoman, and counter stools, and I truly could not be happier with both the finished pieces and the entire process.
As an architect and interior designer, I am extremely detail-oriented and tend to pay attention to things that might seem very small—from proportions, dimensions, materials, stitching, and finishes to the way individual details come together in the final piece. What impressed me most about the ModernClassic team was how receptive they were to every one of those details. Nothing was ever dismissed as too minor. They listened carefully, asked the right questions, and made a genuine effort to understand the design intent behind each request.
The communication throughout the process was outstanding. Every question or concern was addressed promptly, and emails were typically answered within just a few hours. I never felt that I had to chase anyone for information. The process was also remarkably transparent: I received photos during production, updates as the pieces progressed, photos of the completed furniture, and even photos once everything had been carefully packaged for shipment. You really feel involved throughout the entire process, which gives tremendous peace of mind when ordering custom furniture. By the time the pieces arrive, there are no unpleasant surprises because you have been part of the journey from production through delivery.

I also have to give very special recognition to Merry, who was truly the powerhouse behind this experience. She is incredibly diligent, organized, responsive, and thoughtful. She consistently kept me updated on both production and shipping without my having to ask, followed up on every detail, and made sure nothing was overlooked. More importantly, she has an excellent ability to listen to very specific design requests and communicate them clearly to both the design and production teams. That coordination is incredibly valuable, particularly for someone working with custom pieces where small details can make such a significant difference.
Merry also went beyond simply processing an order. She was very helpful in providing technical information and discussing different options whenever there was an opportunity to improve the quality or execution of a piece. It felt like working with someone who genuinely cared about achieving the best possible result rather than simply completing a transaction.
The final pieces are beautiful. The quality, proportions, craftsmanship, and overall appearance exceeded my expectations, and they look exactly at home in the space I designed for them.
What makes ModernClassic stand out to me is not only the quality of their products, but the quality of their entire operation—the responsiveness, transparency, attention to detail, production follow-through, and level of care from beginning to end. Custom furniture can sometimes be a stressful process, especially when you are particular about details, but ModernClassic made the experience remarkably smooth and enjoyable.
I am extremely happy with everything we produced together and very grateful to the entire ModernClassic team, and especially to Merry, for making the experience such a positive one. I am already looking forward to working with them again on additional furniture pieces and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone who values design, craftsmanship, communication, and attention to detail.
