I strongly advise caution when ordering from Moda di Andrea.

I ordered a Philipp Plein jacket in size M but received size L. I immediately contacted customer support and sent follow-up emails and no response at all. I was ignored for weeks.

The only reason this issue got resolved was because I opened a case with Klarna. Only then did Moda di Andrea reply, claiming they had “not seen my previous emails,” and finally provided a return label.

After returning the jacket, I was refunded, but they still deducted €22 shipping costs, even though the wrong size was sent to me and the entire return was caused by their mistake.

This was a frustrating experience:
• wrong item/size shipped
• customer service ignores emails
• refund only after escalation (Klarna)
• shipping costs deducted despite seller error

I lost trust in this store. I’m posting this review to warn other customers.

Thank you for your response.

For accuracy, I would like to clarify the facts:
1. I contacted you on November 10 immediately after delivery regarding the incorrect size and sent a follow-up message afterwards due to the lack of a clear resolution.
2. The central issue remains that you shipped a different size (L) instead of the ordered size (M) without my prior consent. Any internal “recommendation” does not change the basic requirement that customers receive exactly what was ordered unless an explicit agreement is made in advance.
3. You acknowledge that a relevant message was “not seen”. From the customer’s perspective, this results in uncertainty and the risk of return/exchange deadlines expiring.
4. The Klarna case was opened solely to ensure the matter was handled within a protected framework and to prevent the loss of consumer rights due to delayed or missing communication.

I acknowledge that the refund has now been completed (including the refunded deducted fee). This does not change the reason for the review: the combination of an unauthorized size change and inadequate follow-up communication, with effective action only after escalation via the payment provider.

This review reflects my experience and is intended to inform other customers.

Habe von Moda di Andrea eine Jeans im wert von 266€ bestellt. Nach ein paar Tagen kam ein leeres Paket bei mir an.
Habe den Fall sofort gemeldet nur es passierte nicht wirklich viel.
Moda di Andrea verwies die Schuld auf DHL und DHL wollte den Fall prüfen aber dabei kam aus nichts raus außer dass ich eine Eidesstattliche Erklärung abgegeben habe.
Daraufhin habe ich bei Paypal einen Fall eröffnet worauf mir von Moda di Andrea nochmals die Sendungsnummer mitgeteilt wurde.
Paypal hat nichts unternommen weil ja ein Paket versendet wurde.
Und Moda di Andrea nutze weder die Paket Versicherung noch kam mir sonst irgendwie entgegen.
Ich habe jetzt also ein wunderschönes leeres Paket für 266€.
Kann Moda di Andrea daher nicht weiterempfehlen und rate jedem von der Seite Abstand zu nehmen.

the bag was shipped the next morning after ordering it & it came to me two days later . looks just like photo & beautifully packed . it was the wrong color i needed but i have to send back. their customer service SUCKS !! giving me a harder time to return the bag when its only a 14 day return policy . i was ahead of it & asked before receiving how can i return & they told me a return slip would be inside that was false , they then asked for my email just for them to tell me to email them & they respond every 2 days . started as a good experience & now it’s ending terribly . truly annoyed overall !

Ordered/paid for available item, two days later order cancelled/refunded with no explanation

Clearly, if you can read in the description area it states cancelled with no explanation. There is no other place for reason and/or comments. If the item was not in stock I understand and I would not have proceeded with purchase.
Clearly, I reviewed the merchant email before submitting this review and found no information.
