La app es horrible, pero está a la altura del nivel de los libros.
Tienen un argumento que quizás pueda enganchar, aunque sinceramente, son todos prácticamente iguales (despreciada por su familia, la hermana apartada, Luna sin lobo, divorciada que vuelve siendo la jefa...). Pero la historia está fatalmente desarrollada, con personajes que son imposibles de creer, totalmente estereotipados. Se enredan es historias simplemente por alargar el libro, aunque ni siquiera enredándose se definen los personajes bien.
Lo que se paga por las historias ya es de risa. Por ese dinero se pueden adquirir obras maestras. Lo que no entiendo es cómo cae tanta gente. La única historia que yo he leído, no merecía la pena, pero me cuesta dejar los libros sin terminar así que hice un único pago de 4.99USD pensando que así lo terminaría. Pero no llegó ni para un tercio de las páginas que quedaban. Así que lo dejé.
Si realmente te gustan este tipo de historias, cómprate libros (físicos o electrónicos), hay cientos de opciones. Libros de verdad, que merecen la pena, bien escritos y desarrollados. Y desde luego por un precio razonable. No pagues por ninguno en esta app.

They don't allow you to cancel your subscription

Dreadful site. Complete rip off. Forcing people to pay exorbitant amounts to finish a book with no option to wait or watch videos for read time. Will be deleting the app after this.

Die Bücher über einzelne Kapitel zu erwerben ist viel zu teuer. Hier kommen schnell mal mehrere Hundert Euro zusammen.

Also erwarb ich ein SVIP-weekly Abo, das eine Woche lang kostenfrei lesen beinhaltet. Aber auch hier war es so, dass nicht alle vorhandenen Kapitel abrufbar waren, sondern gegen Ende extra Münzen verlangt wurden. Was eine Verar….!

Mal ganz davon abgesehen, dass ein Buch niemals ein Ende findet und teilweise derart schlecht mit Kl geschrieben wurde.

I paid $1.99 to read one book which turned out to be a horrible book. MoboReader charged me $9.99 a week until I finally reported my card as stolen because there is nowhere to stop the subscription. I emailed them and told them to stop charging my card and they ignored me. They refuse to refund me any money. I did not read any other books other than the one I initially paid for. Don’t be fooled like I was and pay a ridiculous amount for inferior books.

The amount of ads are horrendous. Majority of time I keep getting message "No Fill" what the hell does that mean? Also when it asks you to read articles, 9 times out of 10 I get a message saying "Error not available at this time. Its taken me nearly 3 weeks to read 130 chapters, Why?????. The ads appear after every chapter which only consist of 2.5 - 3 pages long. If it wasn't for the story I'm reading, I would delete this app once the story has finished. Moboread get your flaming act together. I don't make any payments etc or claim coins, maybe this is why its taking so long. Maybe moboread can explain

The same event is completely rewritten from one chapter to the next, relationships change (from mother to aunt, for example.) as the book progresses, main character blocks a phone number but gets calls and texts from the same number in the next chapter, main character breaks off his engagement over and over and over, etc. Storyline threads are a disaster. Somewhere in there is a decent storyline but there can’t possibly be any editing taking place. I’m deleting the app.

SCAM – Impossible to cancel subscription, unauthorized charges

I am writing this to warn everyone about MoboReader. This app is a complete scam.

I signed up for a trial to see if I liked the app. I didn't, so I checked for an active subscription. In the app, the subscription section was empty, and nothing was listed in my Google Play subscriptions. So, I deleted the app, thinking that was the end of it.

A few days later, I noticed two separate charges of $7.99 each taken from my card by "MOBOREADER TECHNOLOGY USA CO LTD". The total is almost $16.

Here’s why this is a scam:

1. No way to cancel: Because the payments are processed through Stripe (not directly through Google Play), the subscription does NOT appear in your Google Play account where you would normally cancel it. This is a deliberate trick to prevent you from stopping the payments.
2. Hidden subscription: The app itself showed "No subscription data," proving I had no control or access to cancel anything from their side.
3. Double charge: They didn't just charge me once, but twice.

I have filed complaints with Google Play and Stripe, but I want everyone to know: DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. Do not give them your payment information. You will be charged and it will be nearly impossible to cancel through normal means. Check your bank statements immediately if you have used this app before.

This app is dishonest,you get hooked and then the story becomes a mumble jumble of repeats just to make the chapters longer and make you pay more ! Absolutely regret! DO NOT USE

Terrible - repeated chapters multiple times. Do not waste your money.

I signed up to read a book and was never able to cancel. Luckily my credit card is able to block the charges so I was only charged twice. I kept emailing the company and they kept redirecting me to the app and then the app would redirect me again to cancel. This is a scam!!!

I too signed up for the subscription. I enjoyed the story. I couldn't get my subscription to cancel after multiple email attempts. I had two different emails and it didn't matter. Yes, they did charge my account. I agreed to the first one. When I couldn't cancel, I took all my emails to my bank with my printed-out bank statement. They put a block from them on my account. They reversed the money back to my account for the second amount taken out because I had shown I tried to cancel multiple times. I have purchased many online books. I won't be getting them from Moboreader anymore. Too bad, they have some interesting stories.

Where to start. The whole app is horrible. I am trying to read one story and can't get through the story. First there is the coins problem. Then the ads. I must have watched over 12 ads to get to the next chapter and it did not happen. Its a horrible app. As much as I want to finish reading the story, I can't be bothered. I think I will go old school and go to an actual bookstore and by an actual book. Its cheaper to buy a book at a bookstore, or another fantastic idea. There something that's been around for a long time. Its called a LIBRARY.

Habe den MoboReader ausprobieren wollen - nach der 1.Zahlung habe ich dann bewusst akzeptiert, das mein erwähltes Buch teurer wird, als 5 „normale“ Bücher - weil ich wissen wollte, wie dreist diese App tatsächlich ist. Ein teures Experiment - mit unterirdischer Qualität. Jedes Kapitel - und die letzten waren nicht mal mehr als 2 Seiten eines Paperbacks, musste erneut gekauft werden. Das Ende der Geschichte war offensichtlich noch nicht geschrieben. Über die vielen Fehler in der Übersetzung, die fehlenden Zusammenhänge der doch sehr simplen Handlungsstränge habe ich bewusst hinweggesehen. Ein fehlendes Ende, dass den Leser mindestens irritiert zurücklässt, steht in keinem Verhältnis zum Preis.
Klares Fazit: unterirdisch in Qualität, dafür Premium in den Kosten. 👎👎👎
Ich hoffe, bei den Abo-Fallen nicht auch noch die unten stehenden Erlebnisse teilen zu müssen.
Schade, dass man einen Stern vergeben muss.

I joined a subscription to finish a book, I tried to cancel the subscription for over a month with no help from anyone. I deleted my app thinking that would stop the collection of 14.99 a week. But it didn’t. Now I have paid 14.99 for over a month with no service either. I requested the company who collect the money weekly and they don’t reply. I wouldn’t recommend mono reader to anyone.

You pay high amount and you can’t see for free all episodes. This SVIP episode is another way to steal people money and lack of transparency from the beginning. Then you want them to keep paying for additional few episodes.
I will never watch again on this app and will remove it
