This company sells such a great UV lamp! I held a couple different UV detectors near the lamp and confirmed it is indeed giving off the healthy UVB rays that cause the body to produce vitamin D. I also held a UVA measuring device near the lamp and confirmed that the lamp gives off none of the harmful UVA rays. Less than 24 hours after my first Mitolux lamp session, I promptly noticed the effects. I find that 15-minute-per-day UVB sessions (on a couple different body parts each day) drastically influences my body's hormone pattern such that the next morning my body wakes up too easily and feels super energetic. My body was previously struggling to wake up on winter mornings. The Mitolux lamp is improving my hormone deficiency/imbalance symptoms more effectively than my vitamin D pills and other hormone supplements were doing. Meanwhile, ever since I started doing the UVB lamp sessions, I also noticed that my body goes longer between meals without needing to snack on anything. I also noticed that during the afternoons I now feel more awake, a difference from the lethargic pattern my body was experiencing during the earlier winter months. I feel like I can now really enjoy life much more, and all because my body's needs are being met by a mere 15 minutes per day in front of a UV lamp. It is hard to believe, but it is true. Lastly, it is worth mentioning, I reached out to the Mitolux customer service a few times. They were great and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend their business and their sun lamp.
Love that you can get UVB, Red, and Near-Infrared (NIR)... from a portable light source! I recommend this for a lot of my clients struggling with sleep / don't always have access to strong natural light sources.
I purchased the Mitolux SUNLAMP UVB/RED/NIR because I wanted an at-home light therapy option that combined UVB with red and near-infrared light in one device.
My experience has been very positive so far. The product feels well built, the setup was simple, and I appreciate that it includes safety eyewear and clear usage guidance. I also like that it offers different light modes, including UVB and red/NIR options, which makes it more versatile than a standard red light panel.
