Beautiful, just beautiful dinnerware. Arrived really quickly and very well wrapped in Japanese newspaper and bubble wrap. A delight to open. Thank you

Order on the 29th June 2026. The item, (a 28cm Carbon Steel Wok) had arrived by the morning of the 30th June 2026.
The packaged was well wrapped with plenty of packaging. Nice touch with the Japanese newspaper. Clear instructions on care coukd be found via a QR code set out in a very easy to understand way.
Now the product itself was well made and clearly shown as being made in Japan, unlike other companies which will use cheaper Chinese version of this style of wok.
As an ex chef, quality is everything, so I will put a review on after I have actually seasoned and used the wok. I am sure it will be postive.
Also I am happy that I am supporting a small British company which have contact details if there are any problems, which is always reassuring.
In conclusion the products sold by Made in Japan are not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive I have seen. But as yhe saying goes pay for what you get. I personally would rather pay a bit more to get a product that will last.

Hori Hori
I received a Hori Hori for a present and initially I was not too sure about it. Having used it I now would not want to be without it. Brilliant gardening tool. I recently bought one for a family member and found the staff at Made in Japan extremely helpful and they responded quickly to messages and emails.

Terrific service and terrific products
Ordering from Made in Japan was an effortless and thoroughly satisfying experience. Shipping to my hometown in the Netherlands was fast, the items were carefully packaged, and payment via Wero went through seamlessly. The quality of the products is excellent, and I will gladly order from them again. Highly recommended!

Excellent personally directed communication. Swift and easy . Ordering was straight forward. My telephone enquiry was dealt with very politely and the information was really invaluable. A beautiful pair of scissors arrived quickly. The next day! Personal note enclosed. The scissors are 1st class. I am delighted with them. Altogether extremely happy with this purchase

Iron Egg Roll Pan 9.5 x 15cm
Arrived in a timely fashion, well packaged with nice personalised and characteristic additions. The pan is sturdy and well crafted, and cooks really nicely. I'm super happy I got this and not a cheap coated one. Now, I just have to master the art of tamagyoki.
