Great customer service! The biofeedback has definitely helped our two children (8 & 12). We frequently see them pause now, when frustrated or stressed, take a deep breath and then de-escalate. This has been very helpful for reinforcing cognitive behaviors they have been coached to do to minimize outbursts, catch impulses and lower anxiety. Highly recommend.

Full disclosure: Prior to Mightier neither of our children played any video games, and they think these games are very fun. Perhaps children with more exposure to video games might find them less appealing, but our kids love the selection and have not gotten bored.

The program is great. Well thought out, engaging, and effective for teaching kids emotional regulation.

The only issue we had with it was that we felt like the screen time was just too much for our kids- but it’s one of the very best options for productive screen time!

We love Mightier, it is a fun way to help kids learn control and self awareness. We love the games, and the support team is awesome!

Our daughter has struggles with ADHD, anxiety and mood dysregulating disorder. I was concerned that she would not be able to even play it since she gets very dysregulating playing Minecraft. She would get very angry after playing, even when we have her run laps before and after. Before we even started I called the company and had them walk me through the best strategies for her. So glad I did. I was surprised how much better she was right off the bat. We do not seem to have a hard time getting her off. I just say - its time to start wrapping it up, please get off in the next 5 min. She is Less aggressive, more confident and joyful, even less combative.
We noticed that as the levels got harder ( and or going through a difficult time period where normal easy things are hard for her- she has mild FASD) She was not wanting to play as much. Saying everything was too hard. We called Mightier and they lowered her level back down. Solved everything! Second time around she was able to deal with the higher level better. I have found great help with Mightier and we have tried a lot of things out there... they totally get kids that struggle with their emotions. We are so grateful. We have recommended it to our councilor and her occupational therapists who now have it for their children that are also adopted. BTW- we are 4 months in and she regulates in the game and life much quicker. We are happy to continue. Just make sure you reach out and explain your troubles to them- they can help!!

My 6 year-old struggles with ADD and dysregulation regularly, more and more, it seems and when I discovered Mightier last November, it finally provided him with a place to have his own personal challenges, struggles, and WINS - without being confronted by his parents, therapists, or teachers. I could tell that the privacy and also the engagement of the games and breathing exercises were having a huge impact on his ability to regulate his emotions, take time out, take deep breaths. He even started subconsciously doing some of this BEFORE Gizmo popped up to teach calming exercises!
The beauty of Mightier, is that it meets the children where they are at: the world has screens, everyone uses them, kids are no different. Mightier also plants a seed in them, that grows into a social skillset the children foster in other aspects of their lives. I've seen my own kid use the techniques outside of, and after playing the games, so Mightier's "therapy" aspect is a big deal in that it continues AFTER the "session" - like most successful programs!

Be aware, they will make charges to your account without previous notice! They charge me over $300 with absolutely no previous notice! When I contacted them they said if you don't contact them by the end of the year, they will charge you for the full amount, like purchasing another year, bear in mind I didn't subscribed to anything, it was clearly a one time purchase and their policy is: if you don't tell us you don't want to purchase again, we assume you want it. They never gave me my money back, I feel scammed.

My daughter did well in using the tablet and games. She would choose it when she needed alone time and the feeling of calm. The would even replace her fun games with 30 min on it. The Mightier product, games, and free hardware with the option to donate, have been an integral part of my daughter’s mental health stability. She uses her newly practiced tools during school and times of panic.

We tried Mightier about a year and a half ago. We had high hopes because our daughter was having a lot of emotional regulation issues. When we first got the Mightier tablet and arm band, our daughter was interested in it. However, after a few days, she got so frustrated with it that she wouldn't play it anymore. We kept on with the subscription for a couple of months because we thought maybe we just weren't giving it enough of a chance. However, the games were still too frustrating for her. She'd get upset within sixty seconds of trying a game. For a gaming system that is supposed to help kids who have issues with emotional regulation, it seems like the games should give the kids a little more time to get into them before getting so difficult, or maybe the games should be able to adjust to each child as needed. We ended up wasting over $100 on this, with no results.

The tablet is cheap and clunky and the games are extremely frustrating. Lowering your heart rate seems to have no discernible impact on the games. My two kids hated it, and Mightier was a huge pain about processing a refund.

This review is strictly for membership.
While the games are great, kids loved them. They got bored and disinterested.
I purchased the annual membership.
After a little over 3 months, I wanted to cancel and get the remaining of my membership fee back.
Apparently passed the 90 days period, they can't give a partial refund.
Number one, I wasn't aware of the 90 day trial period when I signed up 3 months ago. I remember the trial period was for 30 days.
Number two, what kind of company with such policy. I admit that it's my fault for assuming that the membership can be cancelled anytime with refund.
But what kind of company refused to partially refund a paid membership?!
A bad one. That's for sure

Return policy and guidelines were unclear. The only follow emails I recall seeing were those asking for positive reviews. If progress emails were sent (with zero data because, as other reviews have mentioned, the games we archaic and not user friendly) why would the company keep charging the recurring payments? I mean, there's a deliberate connection to the internet and usage, or lack thereof, could be seen. Tonight I discovered 3 $40 monthly recurring charges (and another about to be charged) for something that sits in a box. I question that this company has a family's well-being truly in mind.

We used mightier with our 9 year old, and it has made a big difference to self regulation. Her outbursts/meltdowns aren't as long or as intense now, as she has had practice breathing through it during play with mightier. Highly recommend this! It's bought more joy to our house!

The computer crashes 9 times out of 10, and causes a lot of frustration to our kids by not working properly. It seems very cheaply made. The charger for the armband also doesn't work reliably (even though we've been sent a replacement, that one doesn't work well either).

Mightier is a great idea. There are some good concepts that our daughter has learned, but the tablet has been a lot more difficult to work with than we had hoped given how expensive the program is to purchase.

The tablet is very glitchy and often take multiple tries (turning off or restarting) to get the program to load. We even were sent a replacement tablet, but the second one struggles as much as the original.

Our daughter is visually impaired and struggles with how small the font is for many of the games.

She is also not very "tech savvy" so it requires a lot of one-on-one to help her navigate new games or even to figure out what the object of the game is. We had also thought that it would automatically move her through learning the different strategies to manager her anger, but her older brother has had to help us figure out how to navigate that process.

Finally, it has been disappointing that the system does not have a built in timer. For a child who struggles with regulating her emotions, the whole learning process is undone when she is told (either verbally or when an external timer goes off) that she needs to finish up and then she has a major meltdown at the end of the session.

We have been using the system for almost 4 months now and have seen little, if any, improvement in her ability to regulate her emotions.

We heard from Mightier once and have not heard from them again. Zero support.

Product is not living up to its hype.

My kid gets even more frustrated playing the games. This tool lacks actual pointer on calming techniques. My kid just kept on breathing hard instead of long and slow. Very disappointing.

Tablet and parent portal are both difficult and frustrating to use. Game instructions are unclear, and games are often frustrating to play. After several weeks my child has only been playing games and not gotten any skills or feedback about how to use her heart rate lowering practice in real life.

This program has been great for my son. He was diagnosed with Rumination Syndrome with is rare and there are not a lot of treatments. Our MD suggested biofeedback which the insurance will not cover for rumination syndrome due to the limited about of research on the syndrome. My son started it and he has been able to handle his stress levels and his anxiety much better. We have noticed that his rumination has decreased. We liked it so much that we have his siblings "playing" the games as well. They let you have five people on the program so it is great to be able to allows the rest of the family to practice calming techniques. I have recommended this program so everyone that will listen. I have even provided feedback to his PCP and Social Worker for rumination as a wonderful at home assist for anxiety and stress in kids. I wish they has this when I was a kid.

My daughter is 11 years old and seems to really enjoy working with mightier some of the games are on the young side. But, she still seems to enjoy the product

We love Mightier! My 7 year old son struggles with impulse control and his anger. I can definitely see a difference in his response when he is frustrated or mad.
We have taught him for years to try and breath through his anger but he would always get more mad in the moment when we told him that.
After he started playing Mightier it finally clicked, I saw him using breath to calm himself without cues from us.
