Mercury Insurance Arvostelua 

Dismayed about the lack of response to several emails. I received email responses that my requests had been received but no action. Today, I had to call Mercury regarding deleting collision on my Toyota Camry. I finally received an amended policy plus an amended renewal bill. It shouldn't have been so difficult.

I have had a claim in for over a month and there seems to be no sense of urgency to help me get my life back in order.
Communication is terrible, I have to follow up after each stage of service is completed to inquire what the next step is. Customer service is non-existent.

I met with two staff members who provided me with an excellent and personable experience. They referenced my online application and carefully reviewed what discounts could be applied to my plan. I did not feel like I was being rushed to make a decision. Out of all the insurance companies I was quoted from (AAA, GEICO, etc.), Mercury was the best and most affordable.

Awful. They are great at taking my money each month but when there’s actually a problem in your home, there’s no communication and the service is slow. They try to make it seem as if I’m supposed to know what to do and that I am doing everything wrong. I would expect more communication and more understanding, as I am going through such a difficult situation. They work for me and not the other way around.

Very enraged that out of the $500 out of pocket deductible to get my car fixed, I am only getting half of it. All because the other party insurance didn’t accept responsibility and Mercury did not do their job to investigate properly, we both made a right turn except he made it through the middle lane which is not a turn lane!! No consequences for his actions and his van was just fine, didn’t need to pay a penny. Disappointed that after almost 30 years of insurance with Mercury dealing with this stressful situation, representatives are very insensitive and invalidating of my anger, had to pay my hard earned money for something that was not my fault.
