I never even started a subscription. I opened the advertisement to look at it, but never did anything once I saw the fee. I have been charged $31, $69.99, and another $69.99. I've tried many times to stop them.

Worst service ever!
I canceled my memowrite in December. They never got back to me to confirm I’ve received subsequent recurring charges that are not authorized.
There’s only a robot when asked if I could speak to a person they said they handle everything by email
Then they claim they can’t find my order
This is the worst company ever! Don’t buy anything from them. They’re untrustworthy and impossible to work with.

It is the most horrible experience. I ordered one product for $39.99. I was charged $282.00 with four add ons. I never opened the link. I tried to call - no number. Emailed and they would not cancel. For weeks I got different replies we will give you 25% off, we will refund one item and the emails were from a total of five different people. PayPal refunded me the subscription, which then did not allow me to get into the system. It is a joke and I have no product and PayPal did not protect me even though the response was you received a product. Not true - no product, no photos enhanced etc, Stay away from this Memowrite.

It's a scam, don't download anything from them under any circumstances.

Total fraud , take money with no authorisation , nothing in return , impossible to contact !

This is a scam site through a fake company in Lithuania. Do not touch it! There is no service, no emails, no reminders, basically you pay up and they do NOTHING. I had started my book but never realised, because nowhere is it clear, that if you don’t finish the book within 6 months, not only do they bill you again (but DOUBLE the price this time!) but they erase everything you have ever written!! I have been charged 85€ in August and now 140€ six months later!! For NO SERVICE and CANCELLING what I have completed.
You go round in circles when trying to contact them, automated responses wanting details which don’t exist (because no trace of them) and it has taken several hours to finally access the app and cancel the subscription on the website. I hope it works!

Same thing, been charged by this guys twice, fraud fraud fraud.

I dont even know what the service or product is but I've been charged each month since September 2025 a total of $322.65 the first being $32.62 then each following month $72.50 until now

I have been charged twice via PayPal for a product called "Innodiets" but never purchased it. I have no trace whatsoever in my emails of the product (or its alternative name UAB Kilo Grupé). I have not downloaded an app. And the website referenced by PayPal is empty - no substantial information and the "contacts" are identical no matter what the problem, ie a generic email address.

Although Memowrite has many positive features, it has some very serious flaws which need to be corrected before I could recommend it to anyone, after writing a book and receiving my book from them. The number one complaint is they dont have a customer service phone number! The only way to contact them is through e-mail and it takes at least days to hear back, and sometimes up to 5 days. They don't even offer live chat services which is very frustrating when you have questions or issues to be resolved; secondly you cannot change the chronological order of their chapters so it flows better or makes more sense; thirdly, you cannot change names of the chapters names without causing typographical errors that can't be corrected by you, and they don't correct them either; four if you decide to order more copies once you receive your book, they don't save your final book in their system so it can simply be reprinted, you have to re-subscribe and then basically re-write your book and upload all your photos again which is an enormous amount of work on your part and they really don't offer any better solutions. I still have not been able to order extra copies although I re-subscribed. It will require too much work on my part and a lot of time and extra money. Therefore, although my original book was very nice with a hard cover of my color choice and photo choice and the unlimited photos in the book were good, it had several typos in the chapter titles and photo captions, and the chapters were not in chronological order so it didn't flow as well as I would have liked. Bottom line, I dont recommend them. There are other publishing companies of this kind that can do a better job of meeting all your the expectations you deserve.

I liked a lot about it I HATED that if you changed a text of mistakenly erased somethin in a lengthy post and you pressed the back button WITHOUT FIRST SAVING which excluded your abikity to find what you had deleted, you lost the entire post. I just lost two hours of work and I am pissed

I ordered a first book and then added 6 more to my order.
Completely uncooperative customer service.
I get multiple emails with contradictory answers.
I fear that this is a scam website

scammed into a subscription you can't get out. Last year i cancelled my subscription by mail, but just yesterday charged again for a service i do not use! There is no client contact, so you're stuck into payments.

Didn’t ever use it and they keep charging every 3 months. Will not remove charges and don’t remind either.
Finally got it stopped only realized through cc charges.

Scammed with subscription. Never really started memowrite had paid £59.00 to do book but found really time consumming last november BUT never signed up for subscription and now had £89.00 via paypal. No notification or emails before. Contacted them who said cannot refund!!! Scammers!! I am so upset as no money now and i never authorised this.

Memowrite. I think it is a scam! They lead you to believe that it's a sale and a one time 3 month inscription but after 3 months they bill you 183$ if you're not done. It is not mentioned anywhere in an obvious way that you are actually signing up forever and will be billed every 3 months until you cancel yourself. Good luck finding out how to do it with the older version. BEWARE!!! Not honest. Oh, now that they’ve taken the payment all the memoirs I had written have disappeared ! Unbelievable!

I diligently wrote out my story and once completed, I was NOT given a draft to review, they just printed and sent them out. There were several major errors in my book. They must have taken info from someone elses story because mine mentioned sitting on the floor with my brother. I don't have a brother. I reached out to the company to request a correction and they CLAIMED that I had reviewed the final before printing so nothing could be done about it. I NEVER SAW A PROOF. THEY ARE BOLD FACE LYING AND WILL RIP YOU OFF.

I have just had my book delivered and I am delighted with it. I wrote it for my grand-daughter to find out about my life. I knew both grannies but never really talked to them and now I wish I had because both had a far tougher life than I had.
The book is nicely printed. Some of the photos are not as good as I would have liked but that was possibly because the photos were not the best.
The editing was obviously American because words had been changed to American spelling. However you are given a chance to edit before the final print.
I really enjoyed the whole experience and it is amazing how much you remember from your past. Some of my friends have read my book and were amazed at all I had done in my life. I did not find it a scam at all and I have my book to prove it.Thank you Memowrite.
