This was a great way to introduce the route to medicine.
This was a great way to introduce the route to medicine as it can be very confusing for some people. I also loved the fact that they included medical students that were trained by medic mentor as it gave me a really good insight towards medicine. However, the reason this was a four and not a five is because I think they should have left more time for Q&A as I was not able to ask my question. Other than that I would definitely recommend this programme to any of my friends or family that are planning to go into the medicine route.

Insight into medicine
Dr Siva was so sweet and nice and explained everything really clearly. Before the conference I had zero knowledge of medicine or UCAT to be honest but now I have a clear over view of both and know what to do to hopefully get into medicine. I’m really happy I was able to attend as without this I would be very lost on what I need to do and would probably feel overwhelmed.

Medic mentor gave me the community I needed
Medic mentor gave me the community I lacked including support getting into medical school. It was an incredibly daunting unknown but I am walking away with a top 1% UCAT score, four offers from medical schools including Oxford, Leeds, Newcastle, York and I am also leaving as a scholar and junior mentor- ready to return and work for medic mentor to help the next generation of doctors as they did me.

Waste of money!
They charge 3500£ for medicine platinum package but not worth of half of it.
It was very difficulty to reach them for any help like UCAT. The response times are very bad.

Hi Grace! Having looked into this we don't have a Grace R on our Platinum Programme this year from Ireland. So we don't know if you are actually one of our students or if you have confused us with a different organisation? You can give us a call on the landline number Mon-Fri 10am-5pm 01530 417 299 and if you are one of our students you should already have access to the zoom link which is open all day and you can hop on at any time and speak to one of the UCAT coordinators or you can message the medical students and doctors directly through your Circle app. Please get in touch with us if you need some assistance!
