Mecum Auctions Arvostelua 112

Attended the Houston '26 auction. I had never been to one before but had seen them on TV. I have a couple of dream cars that are on my bucket list. This was just a scouting trip to learn the ins and outs, so I only bought a general admission ticket. Didn't matter that I wasn't a bidder, everyone was super nice and always helpful. I strongly suggest any new comers take the 'newbie' tour. Shout out to Marsha and Mel. I'm so impressed with their level of customer service I may even apply for a job.

I rate Mecum a ZERO out of 10. After registering 2 collector cars months in advance and speaking with representatives about paying a premium for a good auction on a Friday afternoon our lot numbers were pushed to F317 and F328 at the Glendale auction. We did not hit the auction block until 8PM when the room was almost empty. While we got a few bids up to $35k these vehicles should have well exceeded our reserve of $55k and $65k respectively. The auctioneer knew the room was empty and barely even tried to get bids before they went to the bid goes on. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. Trying to run 350 cars across the block on a Friday Mecum should have know this would take until late into the evening and known that the room would be empty. After spending over $2000 and a lot of wasted time I am reluctant to bring any of our other collector vehicles through Mecum. This auction was a disgrace to the Mecum name and certainly not representative of the clientele that reside in Arizona.

Was at the Mecum auction in KansasCity and purchased a vehicle unfortunately when we got home and had it inspected to be licensed to drive it pulled up as stolen. Several months later we still can’t enjoy the vehicle we purchased and neither the DMV or Mecum is fixing the situation. After spending that kind of money to get the vehicle bought home and fixed up to drive we still cannot legally drive it down the road without a title and plates. Would be nice to not get the run around from the gals in the office.

Mecum auction is just a big scam from beginning to end. They have a policy to take every dollar they can from buyer to sellers to even the food vendors and staff. Even if you’re you just come to look at cars they ad extra hidden fees on entry. Made up fees to just get in. Money hungry company that is greedy. If you have a car to auction take anywhere but Mecum!! I promise it will not end well for you.

we have been attending the Mecum Kissimmee Auction this week as we have done for several of the previous years since moving here 12 years ago. Usually we have had several pleasant experiences dealing with the mecum representatives during that time. This time we interacted with a real gem JUNIOR. I have never had a better experience with a real customer oriented person. Anything we asked he was really happy to help us with. We needed to locate some cars available to bid and he was a whiz with the computer in locating them and directing us to the location. And all with a smile and happy demeanor. He truly seemed happy to assist us. I wish all our interactions were as easy and pleasurable as the ones we had with him. You have a good one there mecum try not to lose him. We will be looking for him next time.

I just left the 2026 Mecum auction on Saturday and enjoyed my visit there with the exception of parking! I'm always a bidder and since all attendees were grouped together in the parking lots, it was very bad since my wife and I have walking issues and you would think that a $ 200 bidders pass would get you better parking. Didn't buy a car while there but am very interested in cars that will be auctioned this week. I am a member of the Cadillac-LaSalle Club.

Kissimmee was all it was advertised to be and more. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff, and more cars than I've ever seen in one place at one time. Only area of improvement would be to improve ingress of vehicles during busy morning times.

First time to Mecum Kissimmee. What a great experience. On behalf of the Cadillac & LaSalle Club, we enjoyed our visit and won a successful bid! The whole experience was as smooth as a Cadillac!

Well organized, clean, nice support help. Inbound traffic was a MESS. That needs to addressed. Lots of road rage and took over an hour to move from the main road to parking

I bought a 1952 Ford pickup from the auction on 12/5 in Kansas City. I bought it on-line. As soon as I got the bill of sale and title from Mecum, (about 3 weeks after the purchase). I took it to the VIN inspection folks in my county. They told me my 1st mistake is buying a vehicle from Mecum. The 2nd issue was, the truck had been modified and part of the frame had been replaced, (no valid VIN to pass inspection). My only option is to apply for a "quiet title" in Kansas, with attorney fees between $3,000 -$5,000 for them to do the paperwork. Definetly will not buy from Mecum again!!!!

Didn’t buy a car this time, but wanted to give a shout out to the staff for being so friendly and helpful, one guy (Junior at the entrance) loaned me his portable charger because my phone was dead , and he wouldn’t even accept a tip after

On a side note, there should be some quick charging stations for cell phones there , just my opinion

Please get the new commentator off the air. What an idiot. Talks about headlights and stance. Obviously knows little to nothing about cars. This guy's as a replacement for the professor is a travesty. Really, really hard to listed to him. First time since I started watching Mecum that I dont want to tunebin

Had bid a car up for auction, won the bid and then they immediately continued the bidding right after! Whats up with that???? What a dishonest company!

Sold is sold, why scam a winning bidder for $1,000

What a joke. I hauled my 1948 Diamond T Truck 480 miles to the Fort Worth Auction. When it was time to cross the auction block they decided to sell by video. Said it was to big. Hum I drove it inside the Dickies parking garage. If you are not a Big Boy consigner or buyer you are meaningless to them. Never again will I consider Mecum Auction

From applying to bid, fall of the hammer to all the follow up procedures and of course shipping, Mecum has been first rate full stop! Timely responses to questions show great communication protocols with clear and concise answers to my inquiries.

Should honor what you guys preach, hammer down sold means sold not keep bidding, very unprofessional

Stopped over at the Klairmont Kollection today to view the cars and what an amazing time we had.
The Mecum staff was so helpful in answering all our questions. Our kids had a great time as well looking at all the cars. Can't wait for the actual auction next weekend. I hope I we win the bid on the lots we want!
