My experience with this clinic was fantastic, perfect in every detail. I was accompanied from the moment I arrived at the airport to the hotel, which was very nice, and the clinic is out of this world. The doctor who operated on me was magnificent, a truly professional and kind person who explained everything to me step by step. I highly recommend coming to this clinic for eye surgery. I started seeing again an hour after the operation and had no pain whatsoever. A special thanks also to Medical Advertising for being there for me and helping me every step of the way. The first thing I would like to say is how lovely my handler clinic director was her name is zeynep embiyaoglu
The reviews were brilliant and I was instantly drawn to that, but zeynep made me feel at ease by answering all my questions and being available for me night and day 24 seven although her working hours didn’t cover 24hrs I’m sure but she put herself out for me didn’t moan not once at the late night texts that I sent her simply because just remembered questions that I needed to ask she was there for me 100%,
then I met the team who were also the same. I am a person that loves to smile and laugh a lot and they was laughing and smiling with me the whole journey which made me feel immensely comfortable.
From the time I got off the plane I was treated like a celebrity was picked up in a Mercedes Maybach, which is a very very highly expensive brand of Mercedes my journey from the airport to my hotel was in comfort with me watching my favourite DJs on the music channel on the TV in my transportation once I reach the hotel I honestly thought that I was at the wrong place. This was a five star hotel & extremely plush. My interpreter and videographer was out of this world also the whole experience was..
I now look at these strangers at the time as my family because that’s how I was treated.

Whole highly recommend for service and care

I've just had my laser eye surgery.
I first contacted Dr. Muhammed Derda Ozer and he explained everything in perfect English.
I was then contacted by Hassan, his co-ordinator (who also spoke perfect English).
I was collected from the airport and taken to the hotel.
The next morning I was taken to the hospital (which is modern, clean and state of the art) by Hassan.
I underwent eye tests to establish which lenses would work best for me.
I then had a consultation with Dr Muhammet Derda Ozer and he was happy to answer any questions.
At no point was I left alone.
My lenses were ordered, but, because they were going to take a while to arrive Hassan went to collect them.
I was given a private room and prepared for surgery.
It takes approximately 20 minutes per eye. It doesn't hurt, it's just a bit uncomfortable. I had trifocal toric lenses. Afterwards my eyes were stinging for approximately 30 minutes and tearing up.
I lay in my recovery room until I felt that I could see clearly enough to dress. There's no rush, whenever YOU feel comfortable.
A driver was called and I was taken back to the hotel.
One hour later I went to the dining room to eat and afterwards had a shower. I was using my phone to let family and friends know that everything was perfect.
The following day, Hassan collected me from the hotel and we went back to the hospital for a check up.
The Dr was happy with the result (but not as happy as me).
I want to express my gratitude to all the team for guiding me through this experience and restoring my eyesight.
It's also 1/3 of the price for the
same operation in the UK.

These people are changing lives it’s such a pity more people won’t go over, im just home after getting LASIK eye surgery and my sight is amazing now, Im so happy from all the texting through the coordinator she’s amazing,
to being collected at the airport brought straight to my hotel then brought for surgery the next day everything is amazing, don’t think about it just go for it you will not regret it, thanks for everything again Gary!!

These people are true professionals the doctor who is also a professor and his staff was amazing they put me at ease and looked after me very well I had a young man called Hasan assigned to me he was brilliant picked me up dropped me off and was there for me at the hospital I had tri focal lenses put in both eyes no pain complete sterile surgery I cannot thank these people enough and the price was a fraction of the UK

The koordinator was very inn to it

From the first message to the fact they are still reaching out has been fantastic. My time in Istanbul was run smoothly and from Hassan to Dr Derda and all other staff I saw my treatment was exceptional. I even decided to throw in a second surgery and have upper Blepharoplasty whilst I was there, they accomadate it with no fuss and all ran smooth. The pricing for trifocal lenses and one eye had astigmatism was very good, and the extra surgery was priced extremely well. I will go back for some other treatments and I would highly recommend

I would like to start by saying I originally arranged my surgery with a company called International plus, vary bad idea, no one at airport, no Hotel booking and very poor service, clinic was like going to an A and E department on a Saturday night and they wanted to charge an extra £1000, I had also been in contact with MDO before I left the UK so I contacted them, they quoted the agreed original price they had offered so I decided to change companies whilst in Istanbul, all I can say is the experience was the polar opposite, the clinic was state of the art, all checks were very quick, surgeon was very informative and friendly, I was always with someone, I would recommend MDO to anyone very professional, I felt at ease the whole time, thanks to the whole team at MDO my eyes are great

I traveled to Istanbul from the UK for bifocal lens replacement surgery and also upper and lower blepharoplasty. I can honestly say, the experience has been nothing short of brilliant. You are looked after from start to finish from the early days of texting with Hassan the coordinator over WhatsApp all the way through to arriving in Istanbul, having surgery, the aftercare and then returning home. Hassan has been a true gentleman and ensured I was cared for in best possible way. Both surgeons were brilliant made everything very clear and explained everything in detail. There was no issues with language barriers whatsoever and no concerns. I am grateful for the whole team. Whilst I cannot comment on the true appearance following surgery as yet, (it was just yesterday and am a little bruised and swollen) I can see how neat the stitches are and am confident it will be a perfect result! Only very recently did I begin to consider laser eye surgery after a brief conversation with a friend back home in the UK.
Then I went on a trip to Istanbul on a city break, which was nothing whatsoever to do with eye surgery.
Whilst on my break relaxing in my room and looking through my phone, an advertisement for MDO Medical Tourism got my attention. So I thought I would enquire by providing my details on the form with phone number and email.

Within a short time I was contacted by a lady named Zeynep. She was fantastic in helping me with all of my concerning questions and giving me absolute assurance that MDO could help me in achieving better eyesight without the need for glasses.

I quickly became so comfortable with Zeynep through our messages that I agreed with her to go in to the clinic for a consultation.

As promised, Zeynep arrived at my hotel with her colleague Hasan on time and both gave me a very warm greeting.
They drove me to the BHT Tema hospital in Istanbul which is a remarkable state-of-the-art facility and is incredibly clean and modern.

In no time at all I was introduced to Prof. Dr Muhammet Derda Òzer.
Mr Òzer was a lovely man and his professionalism was immediately evident.
He gave me a thorough eye examination and Zeynep and Hasan did not leave me at all, they both stayed by my side and gave me endless and continuous support throughout.

Mr Òzer informed me that I was suitable for the procedure and as I felt so comfortable and assured in my surroundings I immediately agreed to proceed.

From then on, I had extensive eye examinations with high-tech equipment and all of my data was gathered, compiled and collated by Zeynep and Hasan. They took me from one examination to the next and were with me the whole entire process.

I felt their full support.

I was then allocated a beautiful comfortable hospital room of my own and I was prepared for surgery.

At no time whatsoever did I feel uncomfortable or neglected. The whole entire staff were fantastic and I can honestly say that the procedure is absolutely painless and done with complete professionalism and care. The procedure took no more than 20 minutes.

My recovery throughout the duration of around six hours was aided by Zeynep as she was brilliant in checking on me in my allocated hospital room and assisting me with my medication and eye drop applications throughout the remainder of the day.

At no point after the procedure did I ever feel neglected and all of the staff were very attentive and concerning in aiding my recovery.
They was never going to let me go until they was certain they were all happy with my recovery.

I can now honestly say they I am extremely happy with my results. I am extremely happy that I was fortunate to connect with Zeynep when I wasn’t really looking to do surgery at the time.
All of the staff that dealt with me that day were excellent, most of all Dr Muhammet, Zeynep and Hasan.

I would like to offer them my thanks and gratitude and I would wish to encourage anybody that is considering Laser Eye surgery to have absolutely no hesitation in getting their procedure done with MDO Health Tourism.
They are a very professional, organised and considerate provider of this and I would argue that they are without doubt ‘World Class’ in their field of expertise.
