I have no idea where my order is. It has been weeks since I ordered it, I get random messages telling me it might be ready and then they don’t say anything else. It was meant to arrive today but nothing has an no phonecall from the delivery driver. I am beginning to think I have been scammed! I’ve asked for a refund.
Update- I had some random man call me
Asking if I’d be home in the hour for the delivery, I said yes, he couldn’t understand me apparently and then started saying “well its quite late so I will try”, this did not go down well with me, but he did not arrive. It is the most random situation I have ever dealt with after trying to buy something.

Do not use this company.

Another minus 1 star review for a company who claim '4-5 business days for delivery' 7 working days after placing my order its still not processed. Emails promising to treat urgently and also to update me fail time and time again

Ordered 4 sheets of plywood, measurements spot on with no splits in the wood etc. Kept up to date on the progress throughout which was nice. Delivered quickly and when said they would. I would defiantly recommend to others and I would use this company again if required.

I’ve used MDF Direct various times before as their prices are always competitive and quick delivery. I recently had a couple of orders with quite a delay on one of them (due to supplier issues), however Angel kept me updated constantly despite the hiccups.

I had emails, texts and phone calls to keep me in the loop and let me know what was happening. When you ask a question you genuinely feel like it gets listened to and that there's effort to remedy too.

It’s really refreshing to experience that level of customer support with people who genuinely care and want you to be happy. All too often now companies seem to not really care or even listen to you.

So I’ll definitely be continuing to use these guys!

Delivery times not acceptable, they tell you when they are going to deliver, you decline then shortage of staff so no delivery 2-3 days in shipping acceptable but not a week later with no end date of delivery in sight

A little disappointed by mdf direct.
Maybe its more geared towards people wanted a couple of shelves. But it didnt work out so well for me. First they dont have a cut template on their website so I sent an excel. Sadly there was a mistake which I only picked when they sent the template.
Really nothing big they just put one unit for a cut when the Excel had two. But it took absolutely ages to get corrected as it wast picked up from my first email then I had to approve many times with various operators and unlikely to get this order in time.

I am extremely disappointed with this company. I ordered an item with the expectation that it would arrive within the promised 2–3 working days—the maximum timeframe meant I should have received it by Friday. I planned a project for the weekend, relying on this delivery, yet here I am a week later without the item or even an estimated delivery date.

My plans are now completely ruined, and all the excitement has turned into frustration. The company’s delivery times are absolutely not reliable, and there has been a complete lack of communication or responsibility. I feel let down and ignored—as a customer, I needed clarity and punctuality, not endless waiting and uncertainty. I hope others don’t make the same mistake of trusting these empty promises.​

I was keep chasing them for last 3 days... EVERY DAY - no item, no EDT!!

Day after posting review I was contacted by them and delivery was made same day, product is good quality therefore I am increasing score to 3*
Still, if you need speedy delivery go somewhere else

As a trade customer I have used MDF direct many times and been happy but it seems as tho something has changed. Refunds not issued. Incorrect deliveries and customer service and messages that seem like it is being sent by an AI bot. They are also not 2-3 day delivery time. More like 5-7 days. Will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

Ordered some mdf sheeting to really precise measurements. They turned up well packaged so there was no damage and the cuts were very precise just as ordered. Would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for mdf boarding!

My order was confirmed on 26th Oct. Still waiting. Ive asked for several updates and get the same reply:-

not the 2 - 3 days turnaround being spoken about and no explanation or expected delivery date.

Order delivered Sat 15th after several apologies and a refund in delivery charges. Wood finished as expected and in perfect condition. Many thanks

The website clearly states 2–3 day delivery, but in reality the order took over a week to arrive.
No clear communication or updates during the delay — I had to chase them several times to find out what was going on.

When you run a business and plan your work around promised delivery times, this kind of delay causes serious inconvenience.
Good product quality, but the delivery time and customer communication definitely need improvement.

Promises 2/3 days delivery on the website - 8 days later and no guarantee of when it will arrive. Booked builder and had to cancel. Can’t get my money back.

What an outstanding company ! Clear communication from placing the order through to delivery and after care! Mdf ordered was for cabinets , very intricate cabinets ,every single piece to the mm! Great product and great communication from the team. Couldn't fault them. Really pleased.

Ordered a piece of melamine board 150 x 35 that sadly arrived with 4 large-ish chips on the corners and sides - obviously from being thrown around by courier company. I have contacted MDF Direct to voice my displeasure- have received emails stating that the matter is being investigated - so now just waiting for the verdict of these investigations.

UPDATE

I have received an email with the results of their investigation and am pleased to report that a replacement item is on its way plus refund of original delivery costs. I must say that the company have been very prompt in their actions and always courteous.

I placed our order a week before it was required and even after chasing, it has still not arrived a week later.
Sadly we wont be using them again after this as we need to have reliable deliveries.......will this order even arrive and be correct ?

Update - Our order has now been delivered and is correct. Communication received from the account manager to resolve the delay and overall a good outcome :)

On their website they say delivered in 2 or 3 days. I paid extra for the postage service because I wanted the product as quickly as possible. Even then it arrived in 6 days.

Great product but make sure you order well in advance.

2-3 days were estimated for my delivery. 1 week have passed, and yesterday after many chats and emails I managed to get it shipped, however half of my order was missing. I received 2 boards out of the 5. I requested refund. After posting this review, the company contacted me by phone and offered additional money on top of the refund if I removed the review, which I found inappropriate.

After 10+ years, I needed a new mattress. The product I wanted recommended that it shouldn't be used with slats with large gaps - guess what my bed frame has.

Save buying a new base/frame, the DIY solution was to have some 3mm MDF cut to size to be laid over the slats. After research, MDF Direct provided the best value quotation, cut to the exact size I needed without restrictions, all with a reasonable shipping cost.

Enna provided multiple updates regarding the order, including any possible delays (which in the end did not occur). The driver arrived on time and was courteous. The order was wrapped appropriately and was to exact specification.

A good experience overall - I would recommend the company.
